Received it today. Installed and I keep getting a line of dots on my print. I've cleaned the inside of my printer and all is well. It's installed correct. Won't give me clear prints. I use this for work on work from home days. I can't use this. Bummer. Money wasted.

I have a 5 year old HP laser printer (non color} and an ink smudge began to appear on the right edge of print-outs. The toner cartridge was good and all attempts to clean the printer had no effect. I had replaced toner cartridges before but had never tried replacing an imaging drum. However I ordered the CF32A drum unit, pulled out the old toner cartridge, pulled out the old imaging drum, inserted the new drum and then reinserted the used toner cartridge. Easy. Print quality is excellent.

I realized I had been using the original Drum that came in the HP LaserJetPro printer I bought years ago. I was having trouble with black blotches of toner on the edges of my documents. The new Drum took care of the problem! And it was a fraction of the price of an HP Drum.

This drum unit really drums. I was beating my head against the wall trying to figure out why my pages looked like they had brush marks along the rim. There didn't seem to be a rhythm to it. I wondered if the seller of the used printer had caught me in a snare. I was about to crash when my friend Tom noticed symbols on a piece inside, that I was able to look up online. They led me to this drum unit. I am floored by how well it works. I could almost kick myself.

It took a couple of printer power off/on cycles before it recognized the new drum, but now all is good.Print quality is just fine, and the page prediction is pretty close to the promised figure.Early days, but looks to be good value replacement...

This product description states that it is compatible with an HP M118DW. However the drum does not fit this printer and the documentation included with the drum unit does not include the HP M118 DW. Of course I purchase drum units and store them for later use. I can;t return this product. Not good.Edit - it takes more time than you would expect for the printer to recognize the drum. Good product with low price.
