I use these as a renewable work surface and they work pretty well. The front edge gets a bit frayed with use but a bit of masking tape protects it and gets replaced with the next sheet.

I have always had big desk calenders on my desk under my keyboard. This year I went through and looked at what I was really doing with the calendar. I was writing notes, scribbling, and just jotting stuff down. Not really much more than that. So I ordered this desk pad and I can't tell you how awesome it is. Paper is thick enough that I don't worry about ripping. Had a study cardboard backside. Corners have lasted longer than any calendar I've used. I print out little 5x7 calenders just to refer to when talking to guests making reservations with us. It's perfect for what I do and how my mind works. I love it. It's sturdy, useful, and perfect size

Have been looking for a traditional desk blotter (seems like forever) - always had the ones with felt and leather when I was a kid.... they still have those but the are price in the hundreds of dollars. This is perfect - love the padded leather look corners to keep notes tucked under on my desk. I do not like the "tear off" style, looks so messy when you do tear off a sheet. Not sure we will doodle on it all that much.... but the possibility is there and nice to be able to have clean sheet of paper when the top sheet gets soiled.

The pad came very well packaged. The precision cut sheets are very secure in the corner holders. Perfect lfor rough layouts of home projects.

Great price for an item that has sometimes cost me a pretty penny in the past. However, this particular desk pad has a few rough edges that can make using it a little annoying.Pros:1) Price - A great price, what else to say?2) Size - This pad does not skimp on paper size3) Corner Guards - Keeps the paper lined up, and protects the edges from abuse/damage.4) Cardboard Back - I've had desk pads in the past that were only paper, and left imprints/stains on my desk as I got near the back of the pad. The cardboard behind the paper on this pad has prevented that from happening.5) Fairly Good Paper - The paper on this pad is not thin or skimpy. I use a medium-nib fountain pen, and other pads have bled in the past. This does not, and each sheet is fresh, without any stains every time.Cons:1) Unbound - The paper in this pad is not bound, which means this is essentially a stack of loose paper with some cheap plastic corners keeping everything together. I ended up requiring two alligator clamps to keep this thing together, as well as some non-slip stoppers attached to the back to prevent slipping.Overall, I'll use this pad until the paper is gone and reassess to see if a better option is available around this price range. If not, I'll probably end up buying this again.
