I excited purchased this desk pad to protect an old desk while providing a cute, erasable surface in hopes of eliminating tons of sticky notes. The color makes me happy and allows for smooth writing (on paper) but the surface does NOT erase well when written on directly (dry erase marker). That was a bit disappointing.

Had high hopes as I wanted to use it to make quick notes and try to save paper. Unfortunately, it wasn’t useful. The ink isn’t clear when writing on it and it’s hard to erase. If you don’t use the cleaning spray, the ink just smears all over the place and doesn’t wipe off all the way. Tough using as a mouse pad as the mouse “sticks” instead of sliding. 2 days past the return window so it will be going in the trash.

This may be the best work mat.I was skeptical of the dry erase capabilities but I am positively impressed. Erases with ease but doesn't just rub off! You can run you hand over the area written on and it won't come off. But when looking to erase, it comes off without staining and leaves it like new - and it erases so easily! Which makes it so wild that it doesn't rub off if it erases so easily! Very impressed and excited to have dry erase notes instead of wasting tons of note pads.Mouse tracks well on it and the texture is easy to write on if taking a note on paper with a pen.I'm very happy with this purchase and coworker's are impressed too when they see it. I think more will be purchased for others in the office! I do recommend this product at this time. I hope it continues to impress as it ages.

Just what I was looking for. My job requires me to make notes when I’m on the phone with a client. This mat works great. I able to make my notes when I’m on a call, and erase them once the call ends. Saves a lot of paper!The mat erases nicely when I use a solution made for dry boards.

Doesn't clean very well. Leaves marks after erasing. I don't see it lasting very long before I have to replace it.
