I've had this for weeks, and the edges are still slightly rolled. It does the job, but I've lost hope that it will ever flatten out completely.

I wanted to protect my desk but also wanted something clear so I can keep useful papers / notes underneath the mat. This worked really on my desk and I put my calendar and other notes underneath the clear mat which was convenient since I was able to look at my notes under the mat but also keep my desk clean. The mat is waterproof and I was able to clean messes on it super easily and gives a nice professional look to the table, super easy to set up as well.

Bought these to be able to set products ontop of glass display cases without scratching them or banging glass on glass when setting stuff down. The plus of being able to see through them and not have to move them for viewing is a solid. Just gotta set something flat and heavy ontop of them for 2-3 days and they will be good to go.

This large desk protector covered most of the surface of my desk and gave me a smoother surface than I had, so it's easier write on. And I don't have to worry about spills ruining the surface. It was a challenge to get flat. Even after using a hair dryer and heavy boards over night, the edges still wanted to roll a little. After a couple weeks of using, it has pretty much laid flat now. Sometimes the reflection of the light bothers me. The only other issue I'm having, I use post-it notes quite a bit, and they always leave sticky residue on the protector that is not easy to get off, even with alcohol. So even though it serves it purpose and at a good price, I haven't found the perfect solution yet, without paying much more for glass or similar.

I'm not terribly impressed with this product, but it does the job. I was looking for a desk pad to cover my wooden desk and prevent stains, while not concealing how pretty the wood grain underneath is. As such, this product has largely done what I wanted it to do. That said, there are two things I have not loved about this desk pad. First, it takes forever to get the pad to lay flat. I've had this for over a month now and the sides are still curled up. I have tried laying heavy books on the mat for long periods of time and even blow drying the sides (with heat, per the manufacturer's recommendation), but the sides curl right back up when I take the books or heat away. So that is a little frustrating. Second, I get so many tiny dust particles and cat fur under the mat. I think this is likely a result of the mat not laying flat, but it is kind of annoying. All around, I think this product is just okay. It does a basic job of protecting my desk, but it has also been a source of some frustration over the last month.

I like the surface of this mat. I have worked at the edges uncurling (keeping books or something heavier on them for a week or so) and they are a little bent still but they are fine. (I did put it initially in the sun all day by a window and that helped the main unfurling)It has no bubble or scratches.**Beware of sticking Post-its to it though...I kept doing that, not realizing the mat holds a little of the sticky and you have to use some cleaning solution and decent scrubbing with a cleaning rag to get it off. (I wouldn't use anything abrasive or I bet you'll make little annoying scratches)The one thing I don't like is it doesn't really stay in place on my wood desk. My desk has a bit of a rough surface, which is why I got the mat, so the plastic doesn't have anything to grip or "stick" to.But I just keep adjusting it and it works for my needs for now.
