I bought the mat to place over my mousepad to protects it from spills and dirt. It fits perfectly, It doesn't slide around. I gave it 4 stars as my mouse doesn't glide across the mat easily. I had to place a small mousepad on top of the mat in order to use my Mac mouse.

This is a perfect clear desk cover protector. It does come rolled up so you will have to give it time to flatten out. This cover comes with some clear sticky pads to help keep it in place.

It DID have a slight smell however, over time the smell wore off.If you want it to lay flat faster you can put somebooks down and blast it with a hair drier.This thing is a life saver to my calendar because I seem to always spill something on it.Also adds a little resistance to keep things from rolling down as quickly when desk is angled up.

I actually use this to cover a seat on my porch, and it works perfectly! The material is durable, heat-resistant, and waterproof, so it holds up well outdoors. The clear design blends in nicely without looking bulky. A great multipurpose product!

My only gripe is that my optical mouse doesn’t work well on top of this mat. I’ll have to get another mouse pad or figure something else out. But otherwise it’s a good mat and protection for your desk and gives just a hint of cushion under your hands/wrists as you’re typing on a keyboard, and you can slide things under the mat like a calendar or sticky notes that you need to hang on to and it keeps them protected and available.

Though the desk pad is smaller than I envisioned, it is nice and flexible and settles well into position on the desktop.I definitely recommend measuring the desk space to be sure to get the correct size desired.The desktop is a corian-type material and stains easily with markers or crayons. This pad is very helpful for protecting the surface from ink imprints, condensation on waterbottles, and color or graphite marks.

I got this mat to protect some reference documents that are on my desk at work. They used to literally be taped to the desktop since I need to be able to quickly reference them, but after years of my predecessors doing the same, I finally took the time to scrape off all the old tape residue and find a better solution. I still needed those documents, and I was tired of them getting beat up from files and paperwork being moved over them, so now I have them under this mat. It’s perfectly clear so there’s nothing obstructing the documents, and now when I need to change them out with updated documents it’s as simple as sliding them out from under the mat and sliding the new ones under. The included double sided “stickers” are also clear so they’re not particularly noticeable. They’re maybe a little taller than necessary, but the mat still lays very flush to the table and doesn’t move an inch once they’re on. Overall I’m very happy with this product. It does exactly what it promises and I really liked the ability to choose the specific size that works for my space.

This is an OK basic desk protector. It does it's intended purpose which is to add a layer of protection on the desk surface. While it's a couple inches shorter in length than the desk protector it replaces, it does cover the main area of the center portion of my desk which was the priority. It does come rolled in the packaging but it doesn't take long to manipulate it so that it lays flat. In fact rolling it in the reverse direction and letting it rest in that position for a few minutes was more than enough to get it to lay flat for the most part. It lays flat enough that I do not see any reason to use the included sticky pads in which to secure it to the desk.As it is a flexible desk protector and not as rigid or firm as my previous desk protector I do find on occasions difficulty when trying to write things on a piece of paper when that piece of paper is laying directly on the desk on top of the protector. I find myself having to press down and write harder than what I'm used to in order to get ink transferred from pen to paper. It leaves me concerned about potential impressions tattooed into the desk protector with continued use over time but it may be thick enough where that might never be an issue. This also works poorly with any mice that has rubber grips, strips, or pads on the bottom to help it track better over traditional mouse pads. Majority of mice won't function (movement and arrow tracking) well if you try to use them on the desk protector.Another issue for me is that it's very glossy and very shiny. It reflects EVERYTHING within the immediate area of the protector. So I am getting reflections from any area where there's a light source. With my monitor sitting just behind the edge of the protector, I'm getting an awful glare that reflects on the desk and I admit it annoys me. If you feel like this may annoy you as much as it annoys me, I recommend going with the frost option over the clear.Bottom line if you're looking for an inexpensive way to add protective coverage to your desk, this will do the job. Be prepared to encounter the aforementioned short comings and you'll be fine.
