Great product! My only gripe is getting the damn thing in the ground!

This is NOT heavy duty. For those of us that have 80+ pound dogs, we know what heavy duty means. This cable is slimmer than a pencil. The outer coating tore within 3 days. The end clasps rusted within 2 weeks, and the cable predictably broke after a month. Do not buy this for your large dog.

Easy to use. I've used in the grass and at the beach. Quality it good. It's durable keeps my two large dogs safe!

The inground support is AWESOME! The thin cable, that is supposed to work for dogs up to 200 lbs, however, did NOT last more than 2 weeks. Our 80lb Great Pyrenees mix puppy (YES Puppy - only 9 months old) managed to physically BREAK the cable. We have to take him out on a leash now - in the fenced backyard. There were NO obstacles for the cable to rub against to create a weak spot. It looks more like it was chewed through? I'm not sure. He managed to break the second one, too, when we tried alternating which dog was outside. I was able to tie the second one with several knots so the female pup can stay outside more (she has long fur and gets uncomfortable indoors).Good thing this puppy has a heart of gold, or my son would need to rehome his dog. I am done spending money on this dog that won't stay home.If the company wants a challenge to try out their products, I have a pair of dogs that are up for the challenge!Looking for a heavy duty chain now.....for my son to buy.Unfortunately I had to return the second one. Lasted about 6 weeks. Does anyone even MAKE a thick cable for large dogs that doesn't get twisted or bent and can keep the protective covering on said cable?

We like to take day trips with our four dogs, but they are a lot to manage and figuring out a workable leash situation has been a pain. These things have been a fantastic solution. We put two dogs on each one with water/shade in the middle and it keeps them from getting tangled or being able to wander off. They are easy to get in/out the ground with the handle thing, and very sturdy once correctly set up.

I like this tie out. I had one for a larger dog but I have forgotten about it while cutting grass even though I removed the cable before and whacked it with my mower blades in the past, this one is compact and low enough to the ground for me to cut over it without impact (not telling anyone to do this but I do) I found the stake and ring to be a good enough stainless steel that after 2 rains now I have no rust on them yet however the the attachment snap clip rusted the first nite just from due I would not tie out a extra large dog with but for the normal size dog 👍👍

Bought this to use on beach I first put it straight in the sand at surface level and dog pulled it straight out. Then dug down to hit some wet sand and screwed it in after that I couldn’t even pull it out. Dog tried a few times and it didn’t budge.Good product, only downside is it all comes loose in a cheap cardboard box. Not a big deal.
