Very useful and a great length! Was easy to screw into the ground myself. I took off a star because after a few months it has started to rust a bit and in terms of sturdiness, the rope broke after about 5 months of use. I retied it, but my dog (while mighty) is only 40 pounds.

Quality product and easy to install with the installation tool included. It anchors deep into the ground and is the first tie out my dog hasn't pulled up in a matter of minutes. Also the locking carabiners at each end are a bonus. Swivels nicely to give him more room to roam. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Very easy to install, once installed it was also easy to remove and install to another area of the yard. this is very sturdy if installed properly all the way into the ground. My dog is large and chewed the protective covering over the steel wire. I do not recommend the steel wire that comes with this if your dog is large.

Super easy to put in the ground with the tool that came with it. Our dog really like her freedom and doesn't get tangled due to the swivel feature. The latch is rusting from the weather, I'm not sure how to prevent this other than poor choice of material. Our dog is 13 lbs so it works well for her. I'm not sure how it would do with a larger dog. I am still giving 5 stars regardless of the rust. Product still works as described and provides the need we were hoping for.

I'm very mixed on this review on one hand it works really well but on the other hand the leash provided killed my dog. In less then 2 weeks of using this leash my dog [40 pound pit] saw a squirrel. Then dashed full force towards it the leash snapped her back when it reached its limits and broke her spine paralyzing her. We had to put her down tonight I lost my best friend and I blame the poor quality of the leash they send with this ground hook.

Our dog kept jumping the fence and trolling the neighborhood so I got him this. He can still wander the yard but we don’t have to worry about him getting out low. Plus it’s long enough he can come into the patio for shelter when the weather is bad.
