I think the dogs are a little confused by the tension they have with the retractable option, but I’m sure they’ll get use to it. This is much better than having to constantly fix their leads wrapped around the stake in the ground.

It worked like I thought it was just that the ground has to have had a good deal of rain recently to be able to push it as far in the ground as required...I use it for my goats so they can graze a different part of the yard & you have to make sure they are far enough from each other they don't get tangled...

I love it when we go camping. I hook my dog Levi up to it when we sit by the camp fire and I don't worry about him running off. He doesn't get tangled up. It retracts and extends as he walks around. FANTASTIC

This is perfect for our dog who is very energetic. We use this a lot while camping.

Worked great for my 65 lb dog. She also doesn’t try to run off at full speed forgetting she is tethered.
