This leash lasted a year and some days for us. We have a heeler shepherd mix. With the rain before winter, it kept coming loose which we figured would happen obviously due to the ground getting muddy. Our dog broke the part of the leash/nylon cable closer to the metal piece that goes to the ground. I suppose some wear and tear but either way it broke.

We live in a small house with a small yard. I also work a 110 pound Pyrtolian balance dog to help me with my mobility. His best friend is a cat. My husband installed the tie out in about 5 minutes, we hooked Sully's harness and told him to have at it. At first, he was confused because his previous tie out was no where near as large. Where as before, he had access to about 10 square feet to exercise freely, he now has access to our entire back yard. We were actually starting to stress how we were going to afford to build a fence, but now the area we could have fenced is accessible with this tie out.Another great feature is the quality of the lead itself. It's a super high quality training lead, with no wire to be stripped and accidentally injure your dog. My son's 50 pound pitbull can tangle ANY leash, I've seen her tie knots in chains, but not this one! She happily played without issue and 0 tangles until she got hot and tired and demanded AC and Mimi's bed.Definitely recommend for people who want to give their dogs a considerable amount of safe freedom.

Recently purchased for our tank of a dog that just got hit by a car & needed something strong for 80 pounds of destruction (he dented the bumper & walked away with minor scrapes🤯). For the price, I was leary but low and behold-it holds strong for the monster. Not even 24 hours after we hammered it into the ground-I ran over it with the mower…..and it’s completely fine! Nothing is broken on it & it held up getting caught in the blades and ripped out of the ground partially. May need new mower for Mother’s Day now :)

Installation was super simple and I no longer have to worry about my pittie running off!! She loves basking in the sun and this has given her the freedom to stay outside unattended for short periods of time. Love it!!

I bought this for my grand-dog Harry a yellow lab puppy (big puppy) it was for my daughter's house. I"m not going to say anything bad about this product because it's probably fine for another dog but not for Harry. He ended up breaking it sadly. I'm not sure how I wasn't there when he broke it LOL He may have chewed through the tie out part, I don't know. But if you're thinking about getting this product get it for a smaller less ornery dog. I will say the part that goes into the ground was very good and he didn't or wasn't able to pull it out of the ground.

UPDATE- so due to the alaskan winter it came a little loose from the ground i pulled it up mo ed it a foot hammed it back in and its fine. we got a 2nd dog who weights 100lbs and a double lead so they stop getting tangled in each other, this thing still works beautifully!!! Even with over 150lbs of dog(s) pulling on itI have a 60lb boy that loves to run and has no idea what brakes are! I didn't have trees in the back yard and I live in a community with lots of dogs and kids and my dog thinks everyone wants to be his friend, he has knocked me over running at me with no brakes and hurt himself so i wanted something that gave run space but still leashed. This was super easy to hammer into the ground even with the alaska permafrost my dog has 360 degrees of 60ft in any direction and I can leave him out to run without worry of him getting lose

Looks like it is going to hold up no problem and my boyfriend didn’t complain about installing it so that’s good.

This works wonderfully for dogs used to being let out on tie outs.

Had doubts about how secure it would be to the ground but it is amazing. I don't think I could pull it out with my car.

This was an emergency purchase as our female dog went into heat before we could get her fixed. Of course this meant our male dog lost his mind and couldn't get away from her. Nothing we could do would keep him away so I purchased this in hopes of a solution. It definitely exceeded expectations. I'm a women that no one would describe as fit or strong and I easily installed with a hammer to drive the stakes in within 1 or 2 minutes. It was so easy in fact I was worried about how easily it would come out. My worries were pointless bc no matter what he did, he wasn't going anywhere outside the allowed radius of the tether leash. The only problem we did have was the collar eventually gave up however the anchor stayed in place. Would definitely recommend!

Quick easy setup. Great length of the lead. Used this when we go camping.
