Honestly, it doesn't really tangle!! If you want it to work right, you do need to get a stake (tie-out) that has a circle on top. My dogs can run around it in circles and never tangle. The only problem is that there's a 60 pound difference between my dogs. So, my little dog kind of gets dragged around if she wants to do something else. She is getting better at it! The little one can run anywhere up and down the line if the big dog doesn't want to move. So it's not terrible for her. This is probably best for dogs of a similar size. For us, it works great. Im happy! The dogs are happy! Way better than cables! I would buy this again.

Works well for two small dogs. Exactly what I was hoping it would be. Not too heavy or bulky for two small breed dogs (5lbs, 8lbs).

This is the best tie out I have ever owned! I lay both of my dogs out at the same time and they don’t get all tangled up anymore!!! Omg, where has this been all my life! One dog is about 30lb and the other one is about 5lbs. And this works perfectly! I put the large dog on the main lead, and my small dog on the short lead, and it is perfect!!!

Loved this, still use it daily. It is a little long for my small yard but it's on me for not checking the length. I just knotted it a bunch at the base and kept using it. This is the first winter that we're using it, so far the clasps are still going strong and not rusting at all even though it's outside 24/7. They both seem comfortable with it but I have seen the rubber part at the end yank my fluffy dog's hair out a little if he's running around like a psycho. Both my dogs are under 20lbs so I have absolutely no issues or concerns with them ripping it. Can't really speak for larger dogs but it seems very sturdy.

This is what I use when I'm tinkering in the garage with the door open and my dogs want to stay with me. It's secure and doesn't get tangled. I use it for 2, 18lb dogs, but I'm sure it would work for larger ones. The cable it thick and sturdy.

I was very skeptical buying this. I have a 40 lb and a 65 lb dog. They are very strong muscular dogs and I didn’t think this thing would stand a chance. We already have a wire connecting the house and a tree in our yard. So the plan was to connect this to it, and then connect both dogs to it. They love it, my boyfriend loves it, I love it. I’m hard to impress, but I would buy this a million times over. I can comfortably leave my 2 dogs outside by themselves for a while while I clean or do whatever. So if you’re contemplating because you have bigger dogs, do it!! Trust me. This is not only for smaller dogs like I thought.

I have 2 large dogs and was tired of having to go outside and untangle them from each other on 2 individual leads, I don't have a fenced yard and no trees so my boys get put on the lead to go outside so they don't run off, I got this to fix that tangling issue, it works wonderfully. I have it attached to a ground piece with 6 foot long stakes hammered into the ground. No more mess, no more tangles, only down side is when my larger dog pulls out all the line if my other dog sometimes gets pulled by him even if he does not want to move.

It works great both dogs can go in opposite directions without it all getting tangled and mangled. Highly recommend!
