This did exactly what I needed it to do. I needed a three monitor setup, each displaying a different screen.I only had 1 HDMI, and 1 displayport output. This turned the displayport output into two different screens, and I used the HDMI for my third monitor.Plug and play, easy setup.I would absolutely order another one of these.

I wanted to Velcro tape this on top of my PC case but it ended up with a shorter cord then I expected, the Displayport (DP) main cord is too short!, it's only like 5 or 6 inches in length under the picture description of this product it shows it being longer and now I can't find anything good enough here on amazon under the description Displayport Male to female DP extension cable.After I find a way to get a few DP cables and trying out a few DisplayPort Couplers, DP Female to Female Connectors and try using 6ft extension cables, and I will have to try with and with out the extensions to see if this works good at all in 1080p and higher I will update this latter.

I plugged the display port (DP) dongle plug of this video splitter into the DP port of my Nvidia Quadro 4000 video card running on a Windows 10 Pro machine, and I plugged a DP Dell monitor and a HDMI Samsung TV into the two ports on the splitter. I then plugged the provided USB power plug into the splitter and into an empty USB port on my Windows machine. Although Windows did detect 3 monitors, the 3rd monitor being another Dell DP Monitor plugged directly into another DP port on the videocard, only that second Dell monitor displayed graphics. The two monitors plugged into this splitter stayed black. I tested both display monitors by directly plugging them into the videocard, and they worked. Hence, I concluded either this splitter is defective or not compatible with my system.
