- Can I Use This Converter Box Directly?
No, you need to prepare an antenna (indoor or outdoor). And ensure that the TV tower signal covers the home area.
- Does not pick up any channels even with antenna?
- Check whether your indoor or outdoor antenna is in the coverage of the TV tower signal,Visit dtv.gov/maps to confirm available channels in your area.
- Note: Always remember re-scan for channels after moving the Antenna.
- The number of Channesls searched depends on the signal strength captured by your antenna.

- The DVR function can be done two ways: On the Page When Playing Channels,A recording can start and stop using the PVR and STOP buttons on the remote, respectively, allowing for impromptu recordings at any time.
- On the Page When Playing Channels,The device can also schedule recordings by pressing the Blue button on the remote. From there, the channel, start time, and end time can be set and the box will automatically record and end at the scheduled times. This can also be set to record daily (every day, including weekends), weekly (once a week), or just once. However, the box’s recording functions are limited to one at a time and can only have no more than 30 scheduled recording jobs saved onto the box’s memory.

Do not buy. I've had one replaced already and the second one was no good either it quit working 3 days after the 30-day return so I've had two that don't work. This is a waste of money they also put out an awful lot of heat which will get the bugs to come towards them they just gets too hot.

After using for a while i find this units audio goes out of sync. It has to be booted up regularly and now just freezes up when booting. Very frustrating, now i need to buy somethkng else.

Works very well…. ended up getting 40 “air” channels…. but have a 50-60 mile range antenna that i picked up at Best Buy. Helps being in San Diego County, picks up a lot of Mexican channels as well, hence the amount of channels

We ordered a few of these for our broadcast IT department. 2 of them (so far) have failed in the same way.... capacitors blow up after a year or so. It is obvious that the manufacturer is using poor quality components in these cheap devices. You get what you pay for.

Have to rescan occassionally because low channels disappear but that may be my location and not the boxes fault. Thing works as intended and I use it a lot. Pretty happy with it for a weird off brand name. would recommend.

This digital TV tuner does exactly what it says. I bought to send free tv chanels to my 4k projector and it has a 1080p clear picture. Can send power to the antenna or not and tunes easily. The remote is very small and thin and feels like it could break but works well. Great value for the price for sure.

bought this because it had a better remote and a few other upgrades from the cheaper unit that i had that lasted four years. unit lock up on boot up and when looking for programming. over the air interference makes the recorder ask if you want to cancel recording (maybe stops on its own). of about ten recordings only about four were complete and one of those was a scheduled football game that stopped after 28 minutes with no interference before it shut down. going back to amazons Choice. I find this unit to be unreliable for recording and cannot recommend it , even if they put a reset button on it

Easy to use, I do have a small cooling fan on it. The first one overheated, but it was replaced for free.
