I picked this one because it works on normal batteries. Im very pleased with it. Its fast, easy and correct. I use mine for candle making and epoxy resin art. No doubts, recommend 10/10

I wasn't sure if this temp sensor would work as well as the more expensive ones (Fluke). I use this quite a bit to check the temp of engines, alternators, cooling systems, bearings, etc. It works well and I have found no problems with it. I am glad I took the risk and if this one ever failed I would buy another one.

I am very pleased with the quality of this thermometer. The plastic body is made of heavier plastic than I expected, and the fit and finish is excellent. It looks and feels like an expensive instrument. As for performance, like the other reviewers have noted, I have found it to to take very accurate readings. The buttons and trigger are solidly built and work smoothly. This is a compact unit but is not tiny, it's 8 in. tall and the top is 3.5 in. front to back. My only disappointment with the unit is that the LED screen has a white back light, on the Amazon listing it shows the screen back light to be blue; I think the blue would be easier to read in glary light conditions. My unit did not come with any warranty information, or proof of FDA certification. Under [Notes] in the Amazon listing, Ketotek states buyers should contact them with any questions, so I assume buyers will need to ask them to provide this information. There is no contact information on or with the packaging so buyers need to use the links on Amazon to make contact. At this price point I feel this is a best buy, I strongly recommend this thermometer.
