Works reliably. Hold onto the programming instructions if you ever want to change anything. If it had a better user interface that didn't require looking at the instructions, it would be 5 stars

It’s working great. Good instructions for setting it up. Not super intuitive but it walks you through the setup clearly.

Love these timers. I use them in my aeroponic system for controlling solenoids to effect misting 10” on 9’ off. I have 12 of them. Two have stopped working after three years. The clock time drifts a few minutes per year. Otherwise they have been great. I especially like how easy they are to program and the price is good too.

A couple years ago I installed a hot water recirculation system in my house. It used to take 3 min 20 sec to get hot water to the far end of the house. Now it takes less than 10 sec. The key part is a small pump that's on this timer. It comes on for 5 minutes every half hour, ensuring hot water is nearby. Previously I had used a thermal sensor that pumped when the water cooled. The sensor went bad. It was over $100 to replace. I opted for these timers at a fraction of the cost and I now have a spare. I suspect I save money each year from not having to waste water waiting for the hot water to arrive. The pennies it costs per day in power for the timer/pump is much less, I suspect. The icing on the cake is the nearly instant hot water for the dishwasher, the kitchen sink, and the clothes washer. Much more efficiency at those places.

When I go out of town for an extended period of time, I use this timer plug to pre-program my lights to turn on/off as a home security measure. It's timing is highly accurate, & it works reliably every time. However, the setup process is not intuitive at all. Since I don't go on lengthy out of town trips too often, I find that I must refer to the instructions every time when I need to set it up. It's probably time for me to join the information age & just buy a Wi-Fi-enabled smart plug when I find one for a reasonable price.Bottom line - it works, but the design is not particularly convenient.

Nice looking, appears to be well made. I purchased these timers in order to run a 12 volt motor for 1 minute then to stop it for 29 minute, this cycle to be repeated from 09.30 hr till 16.00 hr. Then to be shut off overnight to restart at 09.30hr. the next day. The cycle repeats each day of the week.Setting the time of day by following the instructions was easy. But I have not been able to make the timer follow my instructions, which were as in item 3 - interval circulation working mode per day.. advice on how to meet my needs will be appreciated.

I bought these to cycle several monitors on and off in a production facility. My company has a hallway where several monitors were setup with touchscreen films for interactive displays that visitors could use. However, the computers running the systems became obsolete and the software stopped running. We were then left with a bunch of monitors with nothing to show on them. We then bought a bunch of media players to cycle some photos on the monitors. What we didn't test is that the media players stop cycling after a week, which means they had to be powered off and on every week. Not a sustainable practice at all. Instead of buying all new media players, we instead bought timers to cycle the power on the monitors. And here we are. After more than six months, the timers are performing flawlessly.

I have several timed light switches from this company and ordered these timers as the on-off timers were out of stock. These timers are not exactly what I had in mind but have worked out well. I use them to turn off certain electronics (an electric water heater and yogurt maker for example) after specific time. I understand they can be used to turn things on as well and have other more complicated programming. The only issue for me is remembering which buttons to press! So I have to refer to instructions periodically. That said, I would still highly recommend these.

When I received the timers, both had been charged and displayed the time. I did not have to plug it in to program it. The time is displayed in 24 hour format so there's no mistaking AM or PM. The buttons are fairly large, nicely labeled and well spaced so you don't accidentally hit 2 buttons at once. I immediately used one timer to replace a noisy, standard mechanical timer. The instructions are more visual than text with each step clearly illustrated. It was easy to program to the current hour once I realized I had failed to read the "hint" to hold down the "confirm" button until the time displayed blinked, making me feel really stupid. The timer is fairly large. It covers both outlets when plugged in. I easily programed it to turn the light on at 19:00 and off at 22:15. I plugged it into a three plug adapter, plugged the adapter into the wall outlet and the lamp into the timer. It worked perfectly that night. The next day I looked at the second timer I had left in the box. After 2 days of shipping and an additional day sitting in my house, the backup battery appears to have worked for at least 72 hours. That's a lot more than I expected. This timer is described on Amazon as being for indoor use only but there is no information in the instructions. I would not consider using it outdoors unless this was specifically stated.
