Seems to work fairly well but light sensor doesn't always trigger on or off - as if sensitivity is too low so I gave it a 4

I've been using this timer for about 8 months now and it's still working well. I haven't had any issues with it at all. Very easy to set up and use, you just plug it in to the outlet and than plug whatever you want into it. I use it for my outdoor porch lights so they come on at dark and stay on for 8 hours. Super nice and convenient not having to remember to turn them on myself. It has stood up to the weather so far half way through it's first winter. Would buy again!

Really handy. It has a photosensor so when it gets dark enough it will automatically turn your item on. It was easy to operate and easy to change times if needed. I have used it for about 6 months and no issues so far.

Nice setting for a few hours after dusk to dawn to like 6-8. Works just fine. I plugged in two spotlights that Amazon has that have no dusk to dawn features, but were 5,000k. Works good. Does a great job of lighting up my lowere yard.

It’s censored so lights go on when it gets dark and turn off when it’s light out. Perfect for outdoor Christmas lights

UPDATED REVIEWI wanted to update my original review, in which I left this product a one-star review (my original review is below). After leaving that original review, the product manufacturer reached out to me here on Amazon. The manufacturer is awesome and very responsive! To try to make things right, the manufacturer sent me a replacement Photocell Light Sensor since my return window with Amazon had closed. The replacement works perfectly and as designed. It is exactly what I needed. The manufacturer gets an A+ and the customer service reps, Sally, Darren, and Steven, were outstanding. Given the excellent customer service and great quality of the replacement photosensor outlet, I believe this deserves a five-star review.ORIGINAL REVIEW (below)I received delivery of this timer the first week of January 2022, and it sat unopened on my desk until about two weeks ago (mid-May 2022). I opened the box and plugged it in outside to automatically turn on exterior string lights on my patio, setting the dial to come on at dusk and stay on for 2 hours. It worked great for the first few days, but then it stopped working. It does turn the lights on at dusk, but it does not turn them off after 2 hours; rather, it keeps them on all night, despite being set for only 2 hours of operation. I noticed that it stopped working correctly after we had rain, which means it is not weatherproof as the product says. Unfortunately, I can no longer return this item because I waited too long to use it, and I'm past the return window.Given the fact that it stopped working after only 2 weeks, I would not recommend this item to anyone. It does not seem weatherproof. WASTE OF MONEY!

I've been installing Christmas Lights professionally for the last 24 years, so it's safe to say I've used quite a few timers. These have worked as well or better than any I've ever used. I also have them on my own home in 2 separate locations; both of which controlled only by the photocell function on the timers, (since I might've misplaced the timers, but currently blaming that on my daughter).CONSISTANCY & ACCURACY: Despite the timers being on opposite sides of the home, they both turn on & off consistently within 5-10 minutes of each other every morning & evening. Out of roughly 50 timers currently being used by my customers, only 2 have had issues, which I think is a more than acceptable failure rate.REMOTE FUNCTIONS: Back when I did have remotes for these, the response time & rate from the remote to timer was not excellent. It's weird, but I can press the "off" button and they'd instantly respond, but the "on" button typically required 4-8 attempts before responding. It's like that with my customer's timers as well, so I know this isn't an isolated incident. The batteries provided for the remote have been mostly adequate, although I seem to remember changing 3-4 batteries out of about 50 this year that were dead straight out of the box.LONGEVITY: Out of anywhere from 100-150 used over the last 3 years, I'd estimate maybe a 5% failure, as in they would no longer work at all. Much more common has been the timer not responding to the remote, even with new batteries. It's like they become "unpaired" or something during the summer. This has happened to me approximately 10% of the time over a span of 3 years.VALUE: As my headline states, I believe these are as reliable as any out there. Take into account they are typically priced very competitively, ($11-$13 per when buying in bulk). I believe they are an excellent value.WOULD I RECOMMEND? Absolutely. Almost all timers eventually are jerks and will be jerky. These are just less jerky than most. I will be buying plenty more I'm sure.
