SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!Arrived today. I figured some of the items wouldn't be the highest of quality - but at least get me started. The blue notched shaft that 'holds' the smaller needles is SOOOO FRUSTRATING! No instructions, not even on the product description page. The blue shaft doesn't easily fit into ANY of the wooden handles. The smaller needles dont' stay on the notched shaft when you start to punch. It comes loose and the thread comes out. I finally got the blue shaft somewhat secure in one of the handles, but it just sits inside the wood. With the handle, blue shaft and the needle on - it's almost 12" from the canvas. Ridiculous.

This set of punch needles is very nice because there are many sizes to choose from. The wood handles of the larger needles are smooth and easy to work with. I also really like the adjustability of the length of the punch needle. The punch needles sizes range from large to very tiny, so the variety is very good. One thing I noticed is that the threader wire will not work with the two smallest needles so there is no way to thread them. I don't know if I am just missing something, but the smallest threader does not go through those needles.Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this set and look forward to creating something beautiful.The zippered case is made of stiff felt and holds everything together but I will be using something else for that purpose.Overall, I do li,e this set for the value.

I’m really surprised at the other reviews. I knew I was buying a cheap set and a cheap set is what I got.The large handled adjustable punch breaks my thread no matter what size needle I use , even making sure I use the appropriate sized thread. Looking down the hole I can see the wood is not smooth.The scissors are definitely not sharp..if you don’t put tension on the thread they will not cut.I would return this but I did not keep the bags everything came in and don’t feel right returning it.I’m hoping eventually I can use the tiny needle points, which is basically why I wanted this set so I could use a very thin strand but have not tried them yet as I’m a beginner.Take what you will from my review, I should have paid a bit more money and gotten a different set.

I was so glad I found this kit, you get all the needles and sizes you could possibly need for punch needling. I did have to look on line for directions on how to use.

If you have never used them this isn’t the kit for you. There were no instructions and I had a hard time figuring it out
