I bought this for my 12-yr-old daughter, who loves crafts. And she's good at them too. Very creative. She asked for help, which I thought was ridiculous. I'm thinking, "How can she not figure it out on her own?" Well guess what? Neither could I!! I ended up just throwing it away because we couldn't figure it out. Hardly any instructions, and what was provided, were terrible. Save your money!!

I found this item hard to use. The has yarn a nice and soft texture but I kept getting big loops that stuck out past the length they should be. Maybe someone else will have better luck. I also think the thickness of the yarn and loops would make it hard to balance a drink on this and truly use it as a coaster….I can see a glass dumping over easily as the yarn is too cushioned and not flat. Too bad because the designs are cute.

The instructions were not clear so I did have to watch a YouTube video on how to do it, but after that, it was very easy to pick it up. There was not enough red or green to finish the watermelon or the lime. Also trimming the edges to make the coasters left frayed edges that they suggested to set with a needle and thread but it was extremely difficult so I just put glue around all the edges. It looks a little rough but a fun craft overall

Really great starter kit - definitely easy for beginners and includes all the stuff you need to start. I was especially pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hoop, which holds the fabric really securely. However, there is no color key (specifically several of the greens are very close and I wasn't 100% sure which went with which fruit). Perhaps because of this, on the first project I did, I ran out of yarn before completing the project (The lime - ran out of green yarn before completing last segment).

Instructions were lacking! I did go to the online video and watch for the best instructions. Cute little coaster set! Fun and relaxing once you get the technique down!

Comes with everything you need to have a craft night! The instructions are specific and they give you more than enough yarn. I have so much fun making these!

This was purchased as a new craft for my young teen. There is a learning curve but she is catching on. They are super cute and nice quality
