The instructions that came with the kit are VERY vague. The pictures are poor and minimal written steps. The kit is also missing a very important piece - the long wire threader. Frustrating

Directions are pretty poorly translated. Didn't understand how to put the backing on so my first piece is falling apart. Yarn is okay. Fun project but if you have bad wrists it will probably make them hurt.

I gave a one star because the instructions are very vague and so small you could barely see photos. I believe the needle is too big for the type of fabric. I didn’t return it because I’m gonna see if I can find a smaller needle

Item as described a good little kit apart from the needle it wasn't great so a purchased a better needle

First time needle puncher with this kit and I got the hang of it very quickly. Had more yarn than I needed for every color but the black but I punched more densely with that color so I just used yarn I already had to finish it so no problem for me. Needle threader is very long and the tape came off so I put it back on it and folded it over so when I pull it through it won’t come off again. No problems at all, just learning with this kit. Love the plastic hoop, it has little bumps inside the hoop to help hold it in place and not let it slip out while trying to tighten the hoop like the wooden ones I’ve tried since getting this kit.

Very simple to do and works really well great design, lots of wool included in nice colours. Good fun for all ages. Good gift idea
