The frame is too small for the images. I couldn’t get a good retention on the fabric because I was having to loosen it in order to get the image away from the border of the frame. Made me mess up a lot. You can tell it’s all cheap material as well. But it’s good for a first time to make sure it’s something you can do and enjoy.

This worked fine for a first timer. I just wanted to see if needle punch was a hobby I wanted to get into. So, for a one time purchase, it's fine.

Love this coaster kit! You can tell by the 8 ball that I did that it was my first one. I was able to learn from my mistakes and correct it with the next one. It’s very easy to follow the instructions. So much fun and will buy more

I am very happy with this product. I love learning new crafts and this one kept be busy. It took me a minute or two to get a hang of it but once I figured it out it was a ton of fun to do. The instructions say to "poke" every 4 threads but if you want to save time while learning I'd go with every 1-2 threads as it makes the stitching look neater. Also they aren't joking when they say you need to have slack in your thread that is behind the needle.. these tips will save you some time figuring it out. Happy needling!!!! I will buy more haha

Easy craft and cute to display. Only hangup for this newbee was the super thin part used to thread, it looks like a thin silver wire, easy to miss but it's there! After that, simple. I didn't follow pattern exactly, but close. Plenty of yarn, have lots leftover. Great kit!
