The little wooden round is not only rough and will need sanded, but it was badly cracked on one side. While I can glue it, it’s pretty poor quality control. The metal sides were a bit sharp and will also need smoothing to prevent cuts. Because it was inexpensive I’ll keep it and fix it. Haven’t actually used it yet so can’t comment on how well it works.

When I got it to of the pins were bent, since idk much about this product and wanted to try using it to patch a hole and my nephews baby blanket with a cute design, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be bent or what actually happened. From the photo it's not.
