Appears to be well made and highly functional as a first loom for class room project.

I can't even .....I've been using it everyday since I've got it. I'm in love with this! I make my boyfriend Leg warmers and arm warmers with this. I'm a crocheter but I have never seen this type of looming before. As soon as I saw this I fell in love and there's no going back now. I cannot believe it took me so long to figure this out. I am absolutely in love with this product.

It's a great gift for any age. Good way to practice and decide if it's an art form you'd want to continue to invest in.

Took a gamble and bought this and two of the $7 backstrap looms. Cut the ends off the back strap looms and glued them together to match the frame and it's the same dpi! Glue better than me, that's embarrassing.

It's a good beginners loom but needs adjustments if you want anything done properly. Be careful with those side screws, they eventually erode the wood since it's a very soft lumber they used. I had to add number of attachments to make it work better. Check miniweaving.com for more information on weaving on small scale.

Loom came and I was excited, EXCEPT there are no instructions, just a sheet as to how to set up initial loom. No onstructions as to how to create anything. Do Not Buy this.

I bought this to try out weaving for the first time. It came strung up, but it was too loose and I had to re-string it. I looked up everything on YouTube and was able to find the right way to string it using the heddle bar. Good for starting out and practicing weaving small projects.

Product was okay but definitely needed some better instructions for those who don’t already know how to use one.

What a waste of money. Not only is the “loom” a waste of money, this is supposed to be something to “teach” a child. No directions, nothing. Don’t bother wasting your hard earned money on it. I’m not going to be able to give this as a Christmas gift. It’s going back.

First, it's $20. I paid $40 for the Prima Fiber Arts Loom. It was beautifully finished and came with nice tools and materials, but the loom itself was horrible. Never could get that thing to stay square. It was always loose and wobbly, making it awkward to use unless it was on a table. This one is a little rough in the grooves, and really needs a little sanding (nail file?), But it's a stable design. It's definitely an upgrade from the Prima. And it's definitely easier to use in my lap.The comb isn't great either. The ends are too wide. But, you can use a fork. I would also suggest getting a long tapestry needle. Even if you need to order a few better tools to go with this, the loom itself is worth the $20.The instructions aren't great, but if you look up Ro Dyeworks on YouTube, there is a series of tutorials on how to use it. I would suggest to watch the intro version before ordering, if you're concerned. It pretty much shows you what you're going to get.I'll give it 5 stars, even with the rough parts. It's what I expected for the price. It is actually pretty easy to set up, if you follow those video tutorials. It does what I need it to and it's a much better design than what I payed twice as much for at a craft store.

Slots on heddle bar don't align with pegs, heddle bar slots too narrow for most yarns and shed is so small you can barely fit shuttle through. Hard to use as regular frame loom since pegs can turn dropping your warp yarn.

This is a great loom and it's easy to use. I'm by no means a beginner, but I got this for a project and it worked well for what I needed it for. It is a great loom for beginners and even advanced users
