My daughter LOVES doing this weaving craft. She is only 5, but picked it up the skill in no time. Assembly of the frame was easy. The weaving bands were packed neatly by color.I gave this 4 stars for 2 reasons:1. The frame broke as we were taking the potholder off the loom.2. The directions could be clearer and easier to understand.

Great materials, extremely difficult-to-follow instructions. We are not newbies when it comes to these homecrafts, but the bracelets instructions were particularly difficult to follow. Still, the weaving projects are more or less like other items you might see. One wishes that the company had given links to videos online, something lots of manufacturers are doing these days.

This weaving kit is a fun activity for kids who like hands on, detailed projects. Younger kids will require some help to assemble the loom and to get started on their projects. The loom and weaving instructions are great and include pictures. But for some of the other projects the instructions are not as clear. Overall, I think the materials are a good quality and kids who like this kind of detail work will enjoy this kit even if it is just the potholders or coasters!

I got this for my daughter and she loves it. It is very easy for her to use. It is great for beginners. Comes with everything you need to start crafting potholders. I am very happy with this, and it would make a great gift.
