The Savina Wooden Weaving Comb is a very well-crafted tool made from solid wood with great durability. Its smooth, precisely sanded edges make it easy to hold. The comb has two small holes: one comes with a string for easy hanging, and the other serves as a fingertip touchpoint to prevent slipping. The ergonomic handle design of this comb, is a plus and makes for a comfortable weaving experience. It's small, lightweight, and easy to carry. This versatile comb effectively straightens cotton fibers and helps to remove loose fibers, leaving a soft and smooth texture. It is suitable for various uses, such as tapestry weaving and other fiber arts. The Savina Wooden Weaving Comb comes neatly packaged in a rectangular box. It is an excellent gift for knitters and crafters.

This is sturdy and quite competent at straightening weft threads. The handle is short, so the power easily transfers to the end of the comb, making it easy to use.The wood is sanded to a beautiful, smooth finish, and it's a joy to hold and use.It works for any table loom, but I've been weaving potholders on a 10" pin loom with 1 1/2" cotton fabric strips, like for a rag rug. The strips tend to spread out and be unruly, and this comb corrals them.I even used it to make loop potholders with my granddaughters on their little plastic looms, and it made them so much easier.

Feels solid and well made. The wood is sanded smooth, and I haven't had any issues with snags or splinters while using it. Unlike the comb that came with my loom, this one feels comfortable in my hand, and easier to use. It's not very heavy, but it doesn't feel flimsy either. I look forward to using this more as I break it in

This was a little thinner than I expected on the handle end. It is not quite as sturdy as I was hoping to receive. The box was sealed but there was dirt that I had to scrape off each and every prong between them as if it had been used before, I will assume maybe it was left over from the manufacturing process. The teeth are a little less smooth than I was expecting for as well.

As a tapestry beater I do really like this comb. The wood is smooth and all edges are rounded then smoothed. It has a great finish like a finely polished or waxed wood. It is absolutely lovely and likely my most elegant beater in the bunch. The wood tone is perfect and the weight of the comb in my hand is a good weight. It isn't so light that I'd have to put extra effort into the beat, but it also isn't so heavy that I feel it would wear out my wrist. The weight is just enough to make applying the right amount of pressure easy. Altogether, I'm in love with this piece and it's going to be used for my tapestries from here on out.

This weaving comb is a convenient small size that is ideal for beating the weft in a smaller loom before continuing to weave. The wood is smoothly sanded and has a nice satin finish. I like the shape because it is contoured and fits well into my hand. There are 5 teeth about 5/8" long and spaced about 3/8" apart. The teeth are tapered and have no rough spots that could fray the warp. It is large enough to cover about 2" of warp at a time. This is a great tool for weaving on small looms such as inkle looms, rigid heddle looms, and small table looms. It will also be good for positioning very textured yarns in a larger floor loom where the beater bar would be too aggressive. It isn't too large for a child's hand so it would also be good to use on a basic toy store pin loom that kids love to experiment with and will be much easier to use than the rather sharp plastic fork-like tool some kits come with.Very nicely made small tool that makes weaving easier and feels wonderful in my hand.

Great hand feel, perfect size, small enough to be used by children. Well polished to avoid snags, and separate enough tines that it should work with many warp thread widths. Exactly what I needed and better quality than expected (in fact I will be buying a few more as I set up a few different beginner weaving projects in my preschool classroom)

I love these Savina products. I'm picky about quality, feel and the beauty of the wood. These past the test! Beautifully made, thanks!
