I love these timers! SO easy to set and completely QUIET unlike my mechanical timers that are so annoying. I am buying my 3rd double-pack today!

The timers worked perfectly and are very easy to set up. The best way to set the unit up is to first hit the reset button to clear out its memory then set everything up after the reset.

The timer was easy to set, and set up, just followed the directions. It's been utterly reliable so far, fingers crossed. My little succulents are happy as clams and doing beautifully. My office has no natural light, so this device turns my little desk grow light on and off so that I don't have to worry about too much or too little light on my plants- or worry about weekends and holidays! It must be doing a great job because one of them is even budding. Good value, works great.

I've been rather happy with these. I mainly use them for holiday lights - they come out once per year, perhaps I use one or two for a vacation timer in between. After three years, one ceased to function properly. It's the fourth year and the rest are all doing well. They are easy to set up and keep reasonably closely in sync for the month they are used each year. Mine did not have a hole for a grounded plug, but there are adapters for that. I've also used splitters where I want to run multiple light sets from one timer. I do not draw many amps with holiday decorations, so I'm not worried about safety.

Small, compact, intuitive operation, big display and works well. Based on 2 weeks usage, and one in cold garage operating Christmas lights, I would buy again.

This little two-pack of timers was perfect for turning on and off Christmas tree lights and a lamp. It works as advertised and is good value for the money. It doesn't take a Ph.D. to operate, either!

These are simple to set up, and unlike some other digital timers, they have an internal battery so that you can set them up unplugged. That makes setup especially easy. The one thing that is less than ideal is that these are only two prong units, and cannot accept a grounded plug. Since these are light to medium duty units, that isn't a huge problem. But it does limit what kinds of appliances you can use them with.

Purchased and using them over a month. Christmas light up at 430pm was beautiful. No muss, no fuss. Used an extension cord to plug in tree lights, and 2 other corded decorations near tree. All 3 came on together, same with the 2nd one, other side of the room, 3 items in one extension cord lit up and shut down at 11pm.Will purchase more as required.

These timers only have ONE on/off setting. but when you are using them to turn on and off lamps when you are away for vacation or for indoor Christmas lights, these are fantastic!. Easy to set the time. Easy to set the On time and the Off time. There is a switch which will bypass the timer function and always provide power to the plugged in device so you can use the device's on/off switch. You can plug an extension cord or a power strip (using a 3-pring to 2-prong adapter) into the timer to turn on an off multiple Christmas LED light strings since they use so little power (amps). You might like to keep this timer on a vacation light. All you have to do when you go on vacation is REMEMBER TO SWITCH THE TIMER SWITCH TO THE TIMER POSITION. I do not do this. I put the timers on vacation lights when I am going on vacation. When I get back home I take the timers off. Once you set it for vacation lighting, all you need to worry about is if your vacation time includes either the Spring Forward or Fall Back DST switch. But you cannot do anything about the DST switch with this timer or I bet any other low cost timers. The timer does not care about DST. Set the time. The timer doesn't know if the time is Standard or DST time. Heck, it doesn't know if it is in the Eastern time zone, the Western time zone, Moscow, or London. It will turn on whatever you have plugged into it at the set ON time and turn it off at the set OFF time if you have the TIME set correctly.. The prongs on the timer are polarized so you cannot turn the timer upside down in the socket and the socket is also polarized but neither is grounded. The batteries last for years but they are NOT replaceable unless you have a lot of mechanical and electrical skills (i.e., disassembly, identification, soldering to remove the old battery, obtain the new battery which you have to search to find and order, carefully solder in the new battery, and then reassemble the timer. Unless you really like to do this type of thing and you can find the replacement battery (it is probably available on Amazon) just order a new timer. My original timers that looked and worked like these timers were General Electric (GE) branded timers found at WM-World. These are exactly the same! This seller has a similar timer which has all of the buttons in a row on the bottom of the timer. But it costs $0.50 per timer more. You might say who cares about where the buttons are placed! Just out of curiosity I ordered a pair of each (both timers come two to a box), the divided buttons and the buttons in a row.. I found the timer with the button in row on the bottom of the timer was easier to program. So if I need more of these type of timers I will be ordering the ones with the buttons in a row at the bottom of the timer. For a total of $1.00 and $0.06 tax more. Worth it. But so are these timers.
