Works great for my christmas lights. I plan to permanently mount it to run some year round outdoor lighting. Will need to see how it holds up to the Florida sun and heat.

Bought this to use outside with Christmas lights. It did the job so giving it a 4-star rating. Pros: Liked that it has a dusk to dawn timer that worked like a dream Cons: Made with inferior plastic. Had to open and close gingerly to avoid snapping and breaking the plastic. As I said, it did the job, but not sure if I'd purchase again in the future.

This outdoor timer works great and is extremely easy to program - which is by far the most important feature. Most outdoor timers require an engineering degree to program requiring a ridiculously lengthy series of steps each and every time the power goes out, or you want to change the on/off times due to change of sunrise/sunset times.Now, the very reason this is so simple to program is the same reason it has one minor draw back. You can NOT program the precise "on" time nor the "off" time. The "on" time is preset as sunset as perceived by the photoelectric cell. The only programming options are the number of hours until shutoff. You must choose one of the preset numbers. So both the on and off times are limited. But to me, that limitation is more than offset by the simplicity. If you have never used an outdoor timer before, you will be surprised by how often they need to be reprogrammed as I mentioned earlier. This makes the process so much less burdensome.

We used to this for our Christmas lights. We were able to plug multiple Christmas items into it. In the picture, the whole front line. The timer was fantastic. We plugged everything in, set the timer and didn’t have to worry about it again. Very impressed with it. Highly recommend.

Ordered 2 of these for our garden up lights, had to purchase 2 because the transformers that powers our lights only one would fit inside the receptacle and we had 2 sets of lights, the transformers are not weatherproof so this thing keeps them perfectly dry. But, if you have just regular plugs this thing would fit 6 no problem. We love the timer, we have it set to go on at dusk and turn off in 8 hrs. In the summer we will reset it to a shorter on time. This thing is sturdy and easy to use. Highly recommend!!!

I have a Koi pond and a big backyard that I use lights in the pond and around the Fencing. It’s beautiful sleek looking box and I love that this piece hides and blends in. And that it has several options for timing,saving me some money on the light bills because it can be set for two or four or a couple other lengths of time that you want or if you’re out there, you can just flip the lights on by turning the whole unit on at the plug . Hides nicely ( hidden behind little bridge.)

I bought this outdoor power stake for my Halloween decorations as I have a few inflatables and lights. The power stake is well made and I had no issues with staking it in the ground and I have clay soil.There are 6 plugs and the ON/OFF-Dusk to Dawn option with 2-4-6-8-10 hour timer is awesome. For those who are getting one, there are no instructions and I had to figure this out for myself.ON- This will stay on until you switch it offOFF- This is obviously off lolDusk/Dawn is the 3rd and when in this position you click again to get to the bottom row for the timer function. Choose how long your items will work. I have mine on at 4 hours, neighbors' needs to sleep :-)Now with the issues I have; outlets are too close together so unless you have the typical 3 prong plug, you will have an issue like I did with the inflatables and the incredibly wide plugs. Not enough space between the sides of the box and the plugs so some plugs will not sit tightly in the socket due to the side rim. The cover will close with no issue unless you are using and inflatable plug, then the cover will not close due to the length. The cover is also lockable with a separate lock (key/numeric) that is not includedI have had zero issues with the power stake that I bought another one to use for my inflatables. During summer I will use a plug near my sun shelter so I can have a plug near there.I do recommend this power stake even with the issues I have given, like I said, it works very well, just design issues.

I have been using this stake and so far it’s been great. I love that it comes on at dusk and turns off at the 6 or 8 hour mark. I don’t have to remember to turn on or off the Christmas lights.
