3 stars because the exhaust port faces the direction you are vacuuming which blowes what you're trying to vacuum away from you.the leaf blower works great, the vac has great suction all other aspects are good.

I picked up this vacuum as a replacement for my old shop vac and it is a huge improvement. I have not used the blower portion on it as I have a cordless 20v Dewalt. I am assuming there are 2 speeds on it for the blower as I have only used the stronger setting for the vacuum and it is great. I should have upgraded years ago.

There is a reason why people buy certain brand items and this is no exception. The wet vacuum is powerful and cleans up with ease. The blower is ok but the cable is annoying. It would have been great if it was cordless with rechargeable battery. Blower power is enough for small jobs. Not a bad set for the price.

I ordered this to retire a nearly 40 year old smaller Shop Vac brand vacuum for general cleanup and maybe some tertiary at-tool collection after my large dust collector and dust extractor. First off, I am pleasantly surprised at how much quieter this is compared to the old screaming vac. It’s not much louder on the high setting than my quiet extractor, and a similar level on the low setting. Speaking of settings, I think I will be able to use the low setting for the vast majority of cleanup needs, it still has plenty of suction. Being able to use it as a blower is another great feature, especially to blow dust out of a woodworking area; however, I don’t recommend using it extensively for blowing leaves or other yard debris. The accessories basket is great for keeping all the nozzles together, much better than some I’ve seen where the accessories fall off way too easily. It came with one bag, so you might want to order more right away to have on hand.There is only one shortcoming in my opinion, and that is the length of the power cord at about 10 feet; it really needs 15 or 20 feet to avoid almost always needing to use an extension cord.

This shop vac is incredible. I have a small shop in which I carry out my various household repairs, projects, etc. and in my small shop I also have a small shop vac, which I previously thought was reasonably sized to accomodate my small shop. After using this DeWalt vacuum I understand my logic was flawed. For a small shop you need a big vacuum, and for a big shop you need an even bigger vacuum.First off, going from a 1.5 to 2.5 inch hose has reduced drastically the amount of debris that gets stuck in the hose, and secondly the frequency in which i've had to empty my vacuum has also drastically been reduced. The less time you spend managing the tool - unclogging hoses, emptying canisters, and cleaning filters - the more time you can spend doing other more important stuff.As for how effective the vacuum is, the suction is fantastic. even with the largest attachment this vacuum collects all dust and debris easily. This vacuum in particular is especially unique due to the vacuum itself being detachable, which turns it into a corded leafblower. I wasn't expecting miracles from a corded leafblower, but it's actually extremely effective with the added bonus of several attachments you can use as well. The vacuum comes with an impressive set of attachments which increase the utility tremendously. The vacuum comes with a big detachable bag to put all the extra pieces in as well, which I greatly prefer. The filter is a lot sturdier than traditional vacs i've used, and it claims to be washable/reusable. I've yet to use it enough to test whether or not the filter is washable.All in All this tool has been a fantastic upgrade to my shop and household. I wish I had a bigger shop vac a lot sooner.

If you're looking for one vacuum cleaner to do everything you need, this is it. It offers a high capacity, and incredibly strong vacuum, and the leaf blower actually functions extremely well. I expected it to be a little bit gimmicky at first, once I tried it I was literally blown away - - or at least all of my leaves were! It's fairly lightweight for his powerful as it is in the cord is a good length. It comes with a variety of attachments and I like the attachment bag that you store them in. It makes it convenient to just toss them in and go. The vacuum does make a little bit of noise, but that's to be expected for something this powerful. It has been able to tackle every job I've thrown at it so far with ease. It's a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommended!
