Lightweight replacement for my antique shopvac that was old and sooo loud. This vacuum works for my garage use. I clean my car, my work bench, dryer area etc. Verrry quiet, One drawback: The narrow tube cleaner is not narrow enough for car seat rack cleaning and you still need a flexible tube attachment to remove lint and sand from those hard to reach areas.

This thing is great. It's is very very quiet. I replaced a very expensive fein vacuum after it took it's last breath and this DeWalt is even quieter than the Fein. Suction is very strong and all parts seem to be much better quality than your average rigid or similar shop vac. I hate the sound of shop vacs but they are a necessary evil in a wood shop. You can truly barely hear this DeWalt if you more than few feet away. Highly Highly recommended.

I really like this shop vac. My garage floor had years of saw dust and cobwebs. I used the bag, and it easily vacuumed it all up!

I use it my garage, for some woodworking tools and cleaning up. Works well for both. I like that it isn't bulky and rolls around easy and has enough capacity. It is so much quieter than my previous shop vac. I don’t feel like I should be wearing ear protection just to clean up. Really happy with the purchase.
