I was never really a tool person. And I especially didn't put much stock in the quality of dewalt tools, I was always a Craftsman. Or snap on person I decided to buy several Dewalt 20 V. Max and 20 V XR hand tools and the quality of these tools is amazing. The design and functionality is straightforward, so it's simple to understand and operate. Even if you don't have experience with tools and they are priced, just right at an entry level. You know the lockability, size and weight could be improved.

This jigsaw was a must have for me to making my signs and cutting out holes for doors and windows the accuracy of this is tools is spot on. No need to flip your wire over to the other side or have it dangling in your face just put the battery in and go. And store it away in a nice solid case that you can stack in a corner or under your workbench.

I tortured myself for years with an old corded jigsaw. It would take 20 minutes to make a curved cut on a 2x4. Bought this thing.... 2 minutes for same cut. Solid construction.

The hard case inside compartments are not set up for storing extra blades in a smaller storage case. Unable to figure what the inside storage is set up for. Although it does hold the jig saw in a compartment well.

Well designed, sturdy blade that doesn’t break when turning corners, perfect guide that aligns with the blade and awesome light the gives you better vision right where you are cutting! Dewalt knocked it out of the park with this one!!! Love it!

Only dislike is that the battery died cutting pressed wood. Pretty sure it’s a lemon. Not sure how to contact the seller to have it replaced.
