A few years ago I purchased a drill and circular saw combo from Ryobi. Those tools have worked well and they are so much better than the corded tools I had. Since I already had those tools I started buying other Ryobi one+ tools and added this saw to my collection. Like all my other Ryobi tools the batteries are interchangeable. One feature I really like about this saw is the method of changing blades which is very easy to do.

I've been wanting a jig saw for a while and had a project that I had to have one for. I bought this because I already had a One+ battery from a Ryobi backpack sprayer I got last year. Very easy to use and has the added benefit of standing upright resting on the battery while waiting between cuts. Impressed a flooring installer so much he said he had to get one!

I've used a few different jig saws in my time but most recently I'm comparing this one to the Craftsman C3 battery powered saw. IMO this is a clear upgrade, it feels more balanced making it easier to maneuver, has a variable speed control separate from the trigger, so pulling the trigger gives you what the second control is set to. So cutting on a specific line/pattern is much easier. Plus as with the other One+ devices, it shares batteries with those other tools.

Product was as described. However, the product number is not recognised by Ryobi Aust for warranty purposes so (a) the product has come from the USA & (b) appears to have no warranty in Aust.

I've been replacing my Porter-Cable cordless tools over the past year with Ryobi and suddenly needed a new Jig Saw. This tool has the power and ease of use I wanted and was surprising beefy, feels great in your hand working with it.

I like the cordless tools available with Ryobi. I have many at work and home but the only jig saw I had was corded. It’s a great tool till I’m not near a power source. I used one at job a guy had and ordered mine that afternoon. Came in a plain box, no problem need to cut back on packaging end up in trash! I will put it with my got to have tools with me at every job.

This unit is a handful and bigger than others I have seen but it works like a dream, and the blade saver is an excellent touch that will save many blades from breaking. I use it every few days so it gets a lot of use and is very powerful. Also the speed control system is very nice too!! You won’t be disappointed in this tool!!
