I purchased this tap to replace the one I had , but when I couldn’t remove the old one I had to bring in a plumber who had to saw the old one of . And replace it with a full unit which he supplied. So I no longer needed this tap so I returned it to Amazon . But I would recommend it if you only need the tap replaced.

I bought this as a replacement for one that was already installed the blew a seal. This was super easy to install as a replacement. Tried to buy others from local hardware stores and had to return them. Works great!

Installed this one myself in under 5 minutes. Was my first faucet install and have had zero issues. Finish is comparable to more expensive models.

This is a solid shower faucet at a good price. It flows well and has a pull diverter for the shower. No leaks and looks promising.

I am a professional master plumber, and I can honestly say that this is the most reliable diverter spot that money can buy. They work absolutely flawlessly, and every time you turn the water off, it automatically returns to spout ; guaranteed , so you never get a cold shot of water on the head by mistake!

I was trying to replace an old tub spout that leaked. I learned I needed “Slip on” which has white plastic threading all the way to the back of the spout. I already had the extender thing so didn’t use the one included. I just unscrewed my old one and screwed on this one!It also doesn’t leak at all and diverts ALL water to the shower when shower head is in use!! Great product. Now I wish it was heavier and metal but oh well! It’s fine for the price.

Had the exact same tub faucet with pull-down diverter installed by a plumber almost 20 years ago. Old diverter recently stopped working and we tried soaking the faucet (after unscrewing it from the CWT connection) in CLR and water as some YT videos recommended but to no avail. Had a preliminary call with a plumber to see about a replacement because of the proprietary Delta pipe connection and then came across this faucet. Did some research and figured I'd give it a try. Exact replacement visually and functionally of the broken unit and it works perfectly. Easy to swap out and saved myself at least a couple hundred bucks.

Conventional diverter spout design does not fully shut off tub water. As such spouts age less water is diverted to the shower while more water ends up going straight down the drain. The Delta design allows only a few drops to leak out. Just pull down the end of the spout. (Note: The Delta diverter returns to open automatically when the water is turned off.) Installation is simple. The spout comes with a converter that slides over standard 1/2" copper pipe. (If you have a threaded nipple you need the other model.) You might have to smooth the pipe with a little aluminum oxide sandpaper. Slide the converter all the way on and tighten the set screw. Then screw on the spout. Done! Note: The spout is plastic. No worries, but don't expect it to last a lifetime. Also, there are two o-rings on the converter, one inside and one outside, both easily replaced should it become necessary.

Simple to install the slip on version in seconds with an allen key and tape measure. If replacing an older slip on type this should be a breeze for anyone. If you are replacing a screw on type you will need to cut copper. Body is made of plastic so I am not sure how long it will last but it works perfectly and drip free 2 weeks after installing it.

For the original unit I was sent, the adapter that secures to the water pipe with an allen set screw was the incorrect adapter. It did not have the set screw or even a threaded hole for a set screw. I returned it for a replacement unit and the correct adapter was included. This unit can literally be installed in 5 minutes and is very simple to install. Pull down spout is easy to use and works great. It does leak a small amount of water, but I think that it is because I did not use plumbers tape on the threads. I have not gone back and done that yet, so hopefully when I do that will stop the leaking. Otherwise it is a nice, inexpensive solution. It is chromed plastic, not metal so if that matters to you keep looking.

Installation on this spout was so simple that I had to laugh. My current spout, which I must admit is the same model and make, although working, was showing signs of its age with marks, lack of shine, and other peculiarities. So, I thought I would give it a chance and try to replace the spout with this new unit not knowing what I was getting into. It turns out that for this particular model the spout literally screws into place onto the pipe is protruding from the wall, and so all I had to do was take the old spout and gently turn it counterclockwise until it started to give, and then continue turning it until it spun completely out of place. I then took the new spout and reverse the procedure, turning clockwise until the spout was firmly and fully set in place. This new spout looks great, and works great as well, but like most things today, it is not made of metal, but of a chrome plated plastic. That may or may not matter, but it does mean that when you are working with it you must be careful not to crack it by turning it too harshly or turning it too far. Once it's in place however you cannot tell the difference between it and a solid chrome piece. It has made quite a difference in the way my bathtub appears. Five stars.
