Got this so I wouldnt have to drain my dehumidifier. The hose is really good quality and isnt stiff. So it doesnt want to curl back into its original shape. Its super flexible but doesnt kink easily. Works well for my needs.

I have a 50 pint dehumidifier that didn't come with any type of tubing for draining the unit. It does have the standard garden hose attachment.In lieu of the "continuous drain" function of my dehumidifier it would usually empty into a bucket it failed to work right out of the box and I needed the dehumidifier running ASAP as we had a leak which the remnants of water needed dried up.If you need a high quality, malleable and manageable alternative to the "suggested" garden hose option. I couldn't recommend this even. The connection fitting has been leak free and screwed right in, the hose seems like it cross linked/braided/encapsulated to prevent leaks.I'd probably prefer the hose to be clear instead of brown/dark so I could see through it for clogs especially if I was using it another type of drain situation. I will update the review if the plastic stars to deform when the humidifier heats up as RH% drops. A+

I bought it for dehumidifier, as I was tired of emptying the water bucket which spills on floor or around the sink creating a big mess. Now I have a pipe running in my room but I don't have to worry about emptying humidifier every day. Fits the drain well, and no leak from that end. It is made of sturdy materials.

Overall, a great hose for price. Very solid thick hose that you walk all over or lay something heavy on without blocking flow. Nice to have different size options instead of cutting to size and creating waste.
