I purchased this item to hang our dehumidifier in the crawl space. It used to be hung directly from the house framing and caused considerable vibration when running it, so much that I put a smart plug on it so I could turn it on/off remotely. After installing the hanging kit, vibrations are almost at zero. Huge difference!
