My wife's covertible needed a new top so the inside was damp, musty, moldy. Ecch. I've used Damp Rid before but in the simpler, refillable containers. This product was perfect for use in the car because it's completely sealed so if it tips over, no spillage. The thing is, after it's full of water you're supposed to put the entire thing in the trash (and into the landfill). That's a lot of plastic.Unless you absolutely need the spill-proof feature, I'd recommend the refillable ones instead. And unless you particularly like the scent you can refill those with plain ol' calcium chloride.

These things never cease to amaze me! Their moisture drawing magic starts working so fast! I started ordering these for my daughters dorm room in a warm weather city. She was ground floor and I knew it would be damp. They worked like magic!! One of them she forgot to change for many months under her raised bed was actually overflowing with the water/moisture it worked so well. ORDER THESE! They are amazing!!

I was hesitant but decided to give them a shot in my older home. Works great absorbing moisture from under my sink and also utility room. Eliminated the old musty smell too.

These really do work. I have closets without ventilated doors and my clothes closet was smelly from leather and stinky shoes. The leather shoes and purses also showed signs of moisture mold. I put one in the clothes closet next to the shoes and no longer have a smelly closet or any signs of mold. Now, I use them in all my storage closets and have definitely seen and smelled the difference. For a better appearance and easier handling, I sit them in a small basket that allows for air circulation to the top.I now order these in multiples so I have them on hand for replacements. Worth every penny and sure cheaper than cleaning musty clothes or tossing moldy leather goods.

These work! I was not sure if they were working or not when I first installed them to help control humidity in bathrooms after showers. They seemed to be doing a good job, but no water was collecting in the bottom. Then our air conditioner developed an issue in June, and it took a week for the new unit to be installed. Thankfully, this was before the really hot weather started. But the humidity in the house was extremely high for a week due to a damp spring and early summer. That's when we found out how well these work. Both of them collected an inch of water in the bottom, and the bathrooms did not develop mildew even though the humidity was much higher than normal. We are very pleased with this product. The only change we would make to them would be to change the blue color to gray, so that they would be less noticeable.
