Dehumidifier Hose, Dehumidifier Hose for Drainage, Dehumidifier Hose Extension 5ft Dehumidifier Drain Hose for Drainage 3/4", Suitable for Most Dehumidifier Drainage InterfacesThis is a solid, well-constructed hose designed for dehumidifiers. It easily connects to the drain hole of your dehumidifier with a garden hose fitting. The hose itself is made of reinforced vinyl. Really overkill for this application as the water is under zero pressure. Do keep in mind that the hose is quite narrow and not suitable for high rate of flow.If you have a floor drain within 5 feet of your dehumidifier, this setup works perfectly. Just keep in mind that if your unit isn’t right next to a floor drain, you’ll need a longer hose. The end of this hose is flat-cut and not designed for any extensions. Since the water won’t be under pressure, an old garden hose can do the trick if you have one to spare.You can find instructions in the dehumidifier's user manual on how to redirect the water from the internal tank to the hose.Using a drain hose like this is way more convenient than having to empty the dehumidifier tank manually. I live in Virginia, and I have to empty mine at least once a day!

Ordered this to put on my dehumidifier in my classroom. The hose itself is rather stiff so it may take a while to relax and lay straight, however, it is attached easily and tight and drains the water well. More than enough length for what I need. High quality.***UPDATE*** The hose is leaking where the hose connects to the coupler. I have tried to tighten the coupler onto the threads to tighten it but it is not working. Might be a faulty connection or may very well be shoddy workmanship.
