Lymphedema in legs. Does not create a tourniquet effect on the legs. Doctor approved.

Bought this binder after a tummy tuck and body lift- great purchase and it's still holding up very well after a month of use..and I mean heavy use. There's been no holes or any major defects and I work in a restaurant, so you can understand how much I'm moving. The only thing that disappoints me is I have to buy another one because the hook-and-loop tears the fabric a bit after taking it off each use, but that's normal wear and tear. This is cheaper than you can get at the doctor's, and much cheaper than you would get from a medical catalogue. Highly recommend.

Sturdy, soft material with tight velcro closing. I am short waisted and most binders don't fit properly, but this one sits, and stays in place. Very quick delivery which was appreciated!

Compression support

The strongest thing on this lightweight compression garment is it closure. The Velcro closure is so difficult to pull a part, you might need two hands to do so. The actual compression material is more like the kind you find in soft athletic socks, for prepubescent children. Its binding effect on a scale of 1 to 100, when 100 stands for 'you can't breath' and 1 is your 'daily underwear' is about a 3. The actual knitting of the fabric is done in a stitch that is not going to compress, much of anything, even when you have fair musculature. It has no chance of binding or stabilizing your core muscles (at least with human bodies in moderately good condition). If you are looking to improve oxygenation and circulation while reducing inflammation, this is not the one.

This belt was tight at first but quickly lost its strength. Now, I have to really pull it tight to get the support I need. Now it requires constant readjusting.

I got this to help alleviate orthostatic hypotension but it just isn't enough compression for me. I gave 3 stars because it might be fine for a straight figure but definitely won't work for a curvy woman with a smaller waist. Also, the fabric is abrasive and I couldn't wear it next to my skin. It's a bit bulkier than I expected and wouldn't lie flat - it tended to scrunch up on me. I'm keeping it as my husband may be able to use it for some minimal back support.
