This binder has been great for my recovery from a hysterectomy. I started using it on day 3 to support my stomach and (hopefully) decrease the gas that was injected at time of surgery and it has done just that. The part that covers your abdomen doesn’t have any stitching so there’s nothing digging in to your incisions (you put it on over your clothing). I did a ton of research on what I would need post op and this is a major one!I wear a size 12 jean and ordered the 45-62”.

Got this for post hysterectomy. Absolutely worth every penny. Was able to move around and stand easier with this thing. Held up well, and washed well too. Used this for the first month of recovery and it helped so much

After tummy tuck surgery, the surgeon gave me a binder to wear, but after a couple days of leaking and getting blood, I decided to order a replacement to have a back up while I was washing them. I had another clean one to use. I bought this one and it was exactly just like the one my surgeon gave me very strong support. Good strong Velcro. Very good quality material, highly recommended

It was today delivered. I opened package and I immediately observed that area velcro is realy tight. I ordered 2XL, generally using XL. Limits for 2XL corresponded to my measurement in the lower range $49 instead 45. I tried it because only then I observed that item is not returnable. !! It just touched partly the velcro area , unable to fit on any part of my abdomen, despite being elastic a little.

I had tummy tuck surgery and was only given one wrap after surgery. I have a narrow torso so my boyfriend had to cut and reconfigure the hospital wrap so it wouldn’t cut me or cause skin rash/burns. I searched high and low and spent a lot of money trying to find a replacement and this wrap is it! It is only 8-9” tall compared to other brands 10-12”. The elastic has a lot of give so I can adjust it as my swelling goes down. Its soft, doesn't rub or burn my skin considering I have to wear it 24/7 and it doesn’t roll up! After all the other wraps I bought, I am so grateful I found a winner! Sizing tip-My waist before surgery was 31”. I initially got the smaller size but had to size up bc of swelling.

This definitely is a must buy if you suffer from back support pain issues from walking, standing, etc. It wraps firmly across the abdomen, and seems to work by lifting up the abdomen IMO. The material is lightweight, and fastens with velcro, so it can be worn under clothes easily, and doesn't get you hot. This also gives a little support on the back directly, but most of the focus is on the abdomen and helps immensely with back pain. This also would work for any injury to the abdomen. Recommended!

This binder works very well. It definitely hold things in place. Its easy to wash and the fabric is soft. The elastic is soft enough that it did not irritate my incision sites. My complain about these is the shape of the front panel. You cant see it in the photo, but underneath the top front panel in the front, the area that the velcro attaches to is hourglass shaped. So if you have a large tummy and the connecting velcro lands in the narrow part It is very uncomfortable because the hooking portion of the velcro is directly on your skin. I tried flipping it over but then I ended up with this large loose flappy area. It was way more conformable that way, but I could not hide it under my cloths. For my body shape, this is a design flaw. I did come up with a work around for this by cutting a soft piece of fleece and covering the exposed areas of the velcro. It works well but should not be needed. All this being said I WILL buy more of these. I bought 2 in my original purchase and they are holding up way better than the one the hospital gave me. I do recommend these to people but I warn them to find a piece of soft fuzzy fabric they can cut into the shape of the exposed velcro.

First a note on sizing. Based on previous reviews I ordered a size up figuring it ran small and I'd be very swollen after surgery. The latter is true but in my opinion this binder is true to size. My waist, pre surgery (hysterectomy), was 31 Inches. I ordered the medium/large and after surgery with a very swollen lower abdomen the binder is as tight as it can go. In my experience order according to the sizing chart. I wish I had.Even with this binder being big on me it has helped so much with abdomal support after my partial laproscopic hysterectomy. The pannel where the Velcro attaches is very soft on the inside and doesn't bother my 4 incision sites. The extra support has made the first week of recovery a lot easier.
