I used this as a booster pump to take very low city water pressure up to 70psi. I installed a pressure regulator before the pump to make the pump get 30psi going in to pump intake. Which made my output pressure out about 70 which was perfect for residential home.

Wish this had a little more boost, but still a worthy investment.

Very easy to install but as other reviews have claimed, make sure you use copious amounts of quality thread tape. The manufacturer specifies no dope can be used, only tape. I thought I used enough the first time (about 6 or 7 layers) but it leaked. I went nutty and wrapped it almost 20 times and haven't had an issue since. This pump is extremely quiet. It creates even less noise than my AC or heat. I mounted mine to a piece of 1x4 cca and used rubber furniture pucks also to dampen any vibration noise. In retrospect, I probably didn't need any of that. The pump I chose only puts out a consistent 38 psi. My main line was putting out anywhere between 40 and 45 psi. You definitely need to install a regulator. I set mine at a consistent 72 psi and everything works well now.

This looks like a nice little pump, and definitely more suited to my household needs for constant water pressure. I’m in the process of installing it now. (These are the positives so far). The negative is that for some reason Primo pumps thought I wouldn’t notice that they sent me an open box pump! It’s missing install instructions, as well as the controller wrench. I’m seriously hoping it works when I plug it in!!

I am using this as a booster pump for water coming into the house. Incoming pressure is about 35 psig. The pump raises the pressure to about 70 psig.Installed the pump in the basement. It has been working flawlessly since installed. It cuts on automatically based on pressure. Instructions / information provided with the pump were excellent.

I installed this to replace a broken booster pump to increase water pressure between the city water supply and my townhouse. I had a pressure control valve installed between the pump and the house to make sure the pressure isn't raised too high. The old pump did not have this set up and it would take the skin off the top of your head in the shower. The new pump works great. I researched several pumps before selecting this one. This pump has the best service record compared to the other pumps I researched.
