I don't use this for my pool, pond or other, this is my rescue pump.I had my sewage reclimation pump go out in my basement, and I had to pump out the well it was sitting in. The footprint for this is nice and small, and the universal adapter coupled well enough to hook it to the sewage line to clear out what I needed. This got me through in a pinch to fix my bigger problem, and saved me a fortune. It's not fancy, but it does a great job!

Son in law needed to pump down his in ground pool in preparation for winter.. he had a small older pump, with lower volume that just took too long. This pump is high volume and really pumps out water at an impressive flow.. it has a larger output which will not use a garden hose.. you will need to get the proper adapter ( 1” in our car ) with the flexible drain hose to match.. worked better than expected.. and just saw this listed at 50% off.. great price.

I purchased this pump to flush my tankless gas water heater. The pump is quiet and powerful, perfect for this use. Definitely versatile and I'm certain I'll find other uses for it.

I ran the pump 37 hours at one go when draining our pool. It worked perfectly and performs well (had some other challenges and that's why draining the pool took so long). It's a great value for money.

I’m using this ‘Limodot Sump Pump Submersible’ as a fountain pump. This is my third, and this pump works well in the application. Basically, I cut a 5-gallon bucket to make windows for water to enter on the bottom and bottom sides, I wrap the entire thing in sump pump filter mesh, and I cut a floating disk from black ethafoam (protected with a water heater plastic tray). The bump gets a fountain sprayer nozzle, and an extended waterproof line cord. I float the assembly in the pond with a cement block as an anchor. It looks perfect. So, as a review for this pump, I can say it has been working almost non-stop for over 60 days. Pressure has not decreased, and the pump starts right back up after power cycling (it helps clear the leaves off the filters).Absolutely a great value!

Drained the pool for the winter in no time. There are no attachments to hook this to a garden hose but we made it work.

Hurricane Milton left my property flooded. 6 weeks after the storm, most of the flood water is gone but I’m left with several deep puddles in low spots. I ordered this pump specifically to pump out the low lying area at the end of my dirt & gravel driveway that was preventing us from driving into our property. My first impression was that this pump is very heavy duty! It has some serious weight and size to it. The plastic housing seems solid and of good quality. There is a float switch attached to the unit. If you don’t want to use that function, simply use the attached clip to attach it to the pump housing in the upright position to keep switch turned on.After connecting my garden hose (NOTE: you will need a 1 1/2” to 3/4” adapter to connect to a standard garden hose, there is not one included) and submerging into the approximately 10” deep puddle, I connected the pump to power and WOW! It started pumping and made quick work. Took about 1.5 hours to drain a 15x15 area about 10” deep. Even pushing through 200 feet of hose, it had no issue. It left about a half inch of water when it was done.Overall, this pump seems to be a decent quality option in the budget category. I’m pleased with it.
