Step to Use 1. Position the tool with the inner brake pad pressed against the piston, ensuring the tool’s base is aligned with the old pad and the plate touches the inside edge of the caliper opposite the piston.
Step to Use 2. Rotate the spreader tool's handle to press the pad, compressing the piston back into the caliper bore.
Step to Use 3. Once the piston is compressed, remove the old pads and complete the replacement.
