Not good for shower sealing, easy to work with though. does tend to get everywhere if you're not careful.

I used the alex (25 year) & alex plus (40 year) in projects before and always ended up with cracked caulk after a few years. This stuff is amazing! Even with the shrinking/expanding of wood trim in summer and winter this stuff stays true and looks amazing. It is the only caulk I will use. Seriously, unless you enjoy re-doing all your trim by removing caulk with a razor blade and replacing every few years -- buy this and save yourself the hassle!!

I ordered 6 of these and 4 of the 6 came with no back cap on the tube and were drying up. It was not until I destroyed 2 of them before I realized what was going on. What a mess..

The bottom part of the tube is absent. Since the sealant was not hermitized it was delivered partially dried.

Just installed new exterior Pella windows and my contractor used Alex Flex around the joints. After 1 month, the product failed due to separation. See photo. I live in the Seattle area. Product was installed in Sept and this picture was taken in October.
