This works!! I love this to clean my garbage disposal. I also disinfect it afterward. It eliminates drain flies. Highly recommend it.

I have used other Danco products and have been happy with them. This garbage disposal cleaning brush is superior to other brushes, in my opinion. The big advantages:-It has a nice handle on it that way really allows you to apply pressure for scrubbing your garbage disposal.-You can add detergent while scrubbing, as there is a small hole on the splash guard.-If you really want to get serious, remove the small locking screw for the handle and attach the handle to your drill (this is even recommended in the instructions). Then you can really buff out that garbage disposal.I had cleaned the garbage disposal with chemical cleaning products, but never with a brush like this. The improvement was noticeable and, to my surprise, the garbage disposal was much quieter after cleaning it with the drill option. Now I intend to just use the handle to clean it out, maybe a couple times a year. Whatever Danco uses for the brush material is very sturdy. I ran it at about 300 RPM on my cordless drill and the brush still looked almost brand new.This one's a little more expensive than the cheap plastic 's ones you see that you're just supposed to stick in there and twirl around. This one is seriously built with a metal rod, a sturdy handle and you can even replace the brush if you want. It doesn't look like that would be necessary. I can even see buying another one to use for other cleaning, such as the outdoor grill.If your garbage disposal is noisy, smelly or you just really need to clean it out, get one of these brushes. Even if you don't own a drill, this brush will help you clean your garbage disposal thoroughly.

What can be said about a garbage disposal brush? It works fine but it's not a diamond. I do like it tho...
