The tube was crimped so that it will never work. This was mechanical crimped by some device. This was not a bend in the tube. Poor quality.

This air switches are becoming more popular because of how nice they look on a kitchen counter by the sink. All it needs is a hole to mount in, and is simply connected between your garbage disposal and your usual switched outlet.I just installed this in my home so I no longer have to worry about touching the wall switch with my wet hands. I can leave that switch on as a sort of failsafe, and use the air switch as a quick way to toggle the garbage disposal. The finish matches nicely with the rest of my sink hardware. For the cost, this is an inexpensive way to elevate the experience of using the kitchen sink.

I remodeled my house and moved the sink with the disposal to an island in the middle of my kitchen. Since I don't have a backsplash or wall I was wondering how I was going to have a button for my disposal. This works perfectly for that.Easy to install and has nice coloring that matches my current faucet.

I got this because I was tired to have to open the door under the sink every time I wanted to use the garbage disposal. Because of the inconvenience, I used to use it very rarely. After installing this, I use it all the time. So much more convenient. It was easy to install and use. I did not make an extra hole in the counter; I installed it on the side of the cabinet right in front of the sink. Easier to cut a hole in the cabinet. I’m very happy with the product and considering how easy it is to install and operate, very easy to recommend.

I got this as part of a larger kitchen renovation job, where I am removing a light switch but still want the light. So I plan to revise the light switch to be an outlet and put a plug on the lines that go to the bulb. Then I'll insert this between the two (all under the counter) and have the button on the counter of course. If it gets wet on the counter, who cares, it is air! Then I can toggle the light bulb on/off.I did test the unit and it works fine. There's a little gap around the outer edge of the gasket under the faceplate, so you'll have to occasionally clean that little gap around the perimeter with a toothbrush or something. If you've never used these before, don't expect a button click. It is more of a soft "smoosh" to get it to toggle on and off.Other than that there's not much to say other than the finish is good and the construction seems to be pretty robust.thumbs up.
