Super sharp, easy to use. Cuts through cardboard with easy. Allowed nice uniform strips so no extra trimming needed. Also easy to replace the blades as they're just standard box cutter blades.

Simple, easy to use, keeps you from cutting your fingers or hand on the blade. It sure makes uniform strips that you can then bind together to form a scratcher much easier. It is not fool proof, I still managed to make wavy lines if I was not careful about keeping it against the guide wall, but 100% better than me trying to do it by hand or along a separate straight edge.Cats were appreciative and it did not take long for them to notice, use it, and lay on the scratcher I made. Do still bind the pieces together with tape or glue when you are done cutting.

This is a simple tool that does one job, but it does that job very well. It cuts cardboard into nice, straight, uniform 1.25-inch-wide strips. It is a great tool for cat owners who want to save money by converting old Amazon boxes into cardboard cat scratchers. It is way quicker, and produces better results than using a ruler, straight edge and box cutter.It uses a standard box cutter blade so it will be easy to find a replacement blade once it gets dull. It was easy to install a blade. Removing a blade took a little finesse and I had to use a butter knife to help wiggle it out.It is not adjustable. If you need cardboard strips of a width different than 1.25 inch, then this tool is not for you.It did not include instructions. Using it to cut cardboard strips was pretty intuitive. If you need instructions for how to turn those cardboard strips into a cat scratcher, well there are plenty of YouTube videos for that.

This is a must have for any cat owner who online shops!! With one large box, I was able to easily and quickly create a new cat scratcher from something I would have stuffed in my recycling box. This tool is so simple but a great way to save money and the environment. It takes a little time to get the hang of effectively and efficiently cut the cardboard strips - you'll need a pair of scissors and some patience - but once you figure out how to use the tool the best way for you, it makes quick work of cutting down those cardboard boxes. Love this tool!
