I feel these did more damage than my cats would’ve as they stuck very well but on my embroidered camel back couch they pulled the thread bc it was overly sticky. If you’re using on a different material it’ll likely work very well though so I have it three stars. It otherwise functioned well and was large enough for my couch. Well built and good value for the price just be careful what you use it on.

Wanted to love but it peeled off constantly until I ripped them off my couch in rage and threw it in the trash. Got another product that is a rug type covering sticker that works super well from amazon instead.

It's really sticks well and if you want added assurance it won't come off, it comes with these little things that screw into it and won't ruin your couch...at least not mine. But all in all, our cat has realized the couch is NOT a scratch pad and is back to using the cat tower ☺️

I have one kitty that loves to paw on the sofa corners, this clear plastic stops her from doing that. It's very easy to install, cut to specific shape if you want, peal off backing and press onto the area you want protected. It adheres well and stays in place, it's clear so only slightly noticeable. It is an excellent training tool to teach kittens not to claw upholstered furniture. Once the cat learns not to do it you can remove it, if the kitty starts doing it again just put another piece on that area. Works very well.Update: 4 years later, bought a new sofa so need new plastic protectors. I bought another brand Amazon recommendation but discovered its plastic was too thick so it would snap back to a flat sheet shape30 minutes after you wrapped around the corner of the sofa. Threw those in the trash and went through my purchase history to rediscover this brand. It works perfect and I highly recommend it and no other.

Just what was needed to stop the cats from scratching. Will get another one to cover bottoms of the couches too. The small corkscrew pins help keep them in place. The adhesion lessens over time, so the pins are needed after a few weeks.
