If you are replacing a broken coupler on your trailer or installing a new one on a trailer you are building, CURT has dependable couplers you can trust to keep your tow load latched on tight. Selecting the right trailer hitch, ball mount and trailer ball to manage the weight of your trailer is not the only important aspect of towing; you also need a trailer that can stand up to the road ahead. That means equipping it with a coupler that is built to go the distance. Providing the highest weight capacity and the most flexibility in coupler design, CURT adjustable channel couplers are a unique option for your trailer. This type of coupler does not bolt onto a trailer's frame the same way that a standard coupler does. It uses a pair of bolts to mount onto an adjustable eye channel to allow for easy height adjustment. The two attachment bolts also provide greater stability and less rattle. This CURT adjustable channel coupler features a sleeve-lock latch and a solid neck for increased strength and security. It comes with a durable gloss black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and has a gross trailer weight capacity of 12,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 1,875 lbs. It is designed to fit a 2-5/16" diameter trailer ball. All CURT couplers include a limited lifetime warranty and feature a lockable latch to give you peace of mind.

Mates right upto my orangeline TH70. I got this to provide increased flexibility with hitch. Shipping might lose a fastener as they are not threaded on since they are nylon lock nuts.

It shows the 2 bolts that attach the hitch to the trailer... they were not in the box. I just used the old ones. Also I had to grind down the bracket section to be able to line up the bolt holes on my trailer.

putting 3 heavy metal objects in a single layer standard cardboard box probably wasn't the best choice. Arrived with the box fully open and destroyed, and missing the nuts for one of the couplers. I have nuts, so not worth any kind of return, but another customer might not have the right nuts on hand...

Great trailer coupler. Only came with 1 mounting bolt instead of two. Still I rate the device as a 5 because of its strength and durability

We needed this right away. It arrived quickly, installed easily and is still functioning well after 7 months.

We've been using this style of couple for years and they have been flawless. The ONE thing i love about this hitch is that there is a visual confirmation that it is coupled correctly, where as latch hitches the couple is on the underside of the couple and you aren't quite sure if it's truly latched. These are more robust than a standard hitch so backing into it won't bend it like a "standard" hitch that comes with a regular trailer. These do need to be mounted to an adjustable channel which needs to be welded on BUT once it's done you can adjust the trailer couple height if need be OR if some how you damage this coupler you can switch it out with two bolts. OR if you need to switch it to a lunette hitch for a pentle hitch you can do that as well with the same two bolts. We're working on switching ALL of our trailer couplers to these.

This is an excellant unit for the price and more than compares to the more expensive ones. Very well built, and comes with the correct hardened bolts for a perfect installation.

This has turned out to be a great hitch. Easy to remove trailer from ball and stays tight on ball. The bolts are a little small in diameter I would suggest using a size larger as I plan on trying it.Once bolts are tightened there is too much up and down slop. We removed the bolt to see if there was a way to make it tighter. Tried to install some washers but the ones we had were too large. When we put it back together with the original bolts and nuts the nut will not go back on tight. It tightens when the assembly is still too loose. I will replace the bolt with a larger one before i use the trailer. All in all I do like it and would buy another if needed.
