Has a 3/16 gap at the top, but works well. Make sure you adjust it. It had a lot of play.

It fit my old one to a tee. My old one is about 30 years old but it has the same foot print so all i had to do is unbolt and re bolt the new one ./ It s sturdy and fit tight . Can't tell ypu if it will rust bad or not yet. I just purchased it.

I used this instead of the pin coupler on my garden trailer so I could pull it with my john deere that has a ball hitch. The product arrived as promised. I just wish the coupler came with nuts and bolts to attach to the trailers tongue.

I had to drill six new 1/2 holes in trailer channeling to accommodate this coupler. It fit snug to the 3 inch channel and bolted in perfectly. Good quality.
