Providing the highest weight capacity and the most flexibility in coupler design, CURT adjustable channel couplers are a unique option for your trailer. This type of coupler does not bolt onto a trailer's frame the same way that a standard coupler does. It uses a pair of bolts to mount onto an adjustable eye channel to allow for easy height adjustment. The two attachment bolts also provide greater stability and less rattle. This CURT adjustable channel coupler features a sleeve-lock latch and a solid neck for increased strength and security. It comes with a durable gloss black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and has a gross trailer weight capacity of 7,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 1,050 lbs. It is designed to fit a 2" diameter trailer ball. All CURT couplers include a limited lifetime warranty and feature a lockable latch to give you peace of mind.

this was a replacement hitch for our air compressor trailer. it actually took longer to get the old one off than it did to put the new one on. Very solid item, expect it to last the remaining life of the trailer.

Come rusty and bolts missing had to buy my own bolts and paint it didnt have time to wait on sending it back and waiting on another this thing had to be a return that someone left out in the rain for a long time

the coupler itself seems very well built and heavy duty but it doesn't come with the bolts, washers and nuts to mount to the channel.. the pictures shows them as part of the package but I ended up having to order them seperately. Other than that I would rate it five stars for the coupler.

This fit perfect into a 3” channel, very tight fit and no movement at all. Pleased that it came with grade 8 bolts.I really like this style of coupler. It couples and uncoupled very easy and seems very secure. I also like that the sleeve is spring loaded.The chain that holds the pin is SUPER cheap! Replaced that with some paracord.Curt brand but made in China.

I bought and returned this item twice only to end up with the same deficiency the third time, the mounting bolts were not included. This coupler is of no use without the mounting fasteners. Good luck if you purchase this item.
