I have several trailers and always seem to be looking around for a security pin, now I have spares! They work exactly how they should, glad I found these. I put an extra everywhere I could think of and one in the truck. They also work on my weight distribution bars.

Bought these for my trailer latch and they work great. I couldn't find the 1/4in at Lowes, figured I'd try these, especially for the price.

PLenty of spring force to keep them closed without being overly hard to open. FYI they are mild steel where as others I have are grade 8. But that's only needed for some applications. Buying in bulk is the way to go. I end up losing or mangling a couple a year and I usually wait and buy them individually at the tractor store because I forgot to buy in bulk before I needed one.
