I loved this whole kit!! First of all the yarn is GREAT. These kits usually come with such bad yarn I end up buying my own but this yarn was so durable. The directions were so straightforward and it came with everything I needed - including scissors! I also loved the fact that you crochet the whole piece as one big chain and bend it at the end like a real balloon animal! I will definitely be buying more kits from this company

This kit was my first attempt at crochet. My first one wasn't perfect but still came out super cute and by the time I got to my second lil guy, he came out perfect. The video tutorial is very easy to follow. If you are a beginner this is a great, inexpensive way to start. The kit comes with everything you need to make two adorable axolotls!

I knew I had to have this kit when I first saw it, I love this whale family. So far I’ve made the big whale and it looks great. Materials are nice quality. The one comment I have is that if I were new to crochet, this would have been a very hard project because the directions are minimal. But if you have prior experience with making crochet amigurumis, I highly encourage you to try this! Really cute kit.

My first attempt was the blue one and after the 2nd attempt I almost perfected it. The instructions were very easy to follow and the contents of the kit, such as the stich markers 🤌🏽 amazing. This also did not cost alot and it was very fun to make. Very relaxing as well. Some stichtches I did have to look up on YouTube separately (I was only using the booklet) but it was worth it!!!! Will order again from here.

Edit: 7/7/24I am changing my rating due to the seller reaching out and offering a refund due to my experience. They DID NOT ask me to change my review or delete my response. I feel this was handled as excellent customer service simply by making sure that as a customer I was satisfied with their product or experience. Again, I feel the packaging was great, and the presentation was amazing, it just wasn’t for me as a beginner. I appreciated the customer service more so than anything,Original review:I was looking for an alternate begginers kit for my daughter and I to do together. I watched the tutorial and tried to follow the book but no hope. I ended up on TikTok trying to learn but it didn’t help me figure out this product. The yarn also separates easily and gets shredded. Super frustrating when trying to loop. I wouldn’t recommend this as a beginners project. It would be good for someone experienced. Came packaged nicely and at a good price with instructions and everything you need. Just didn’t meet my expectations.

Bought this for my daughter who is learning to crochet all on her own. She was able to follow the instructions without any issues. She says it was a lot of fun and she cannot wait to make the pink one. The kit has everything she needs and the right amount of stuff. She didn't run out of anything she needed to make the blue one. I highly recommend this kit for anyone getting started with crochet and who loves axolotls.

As a total beginner I found the video tutorials to be really great. They gave me the confidence to try my kit. However, because the yarn is so thin and because I'm a beginner, every time I try and pull a loop through, I pulled through the strand of yarn instead. I imagine it's a combination of lacking good technique and that thicker yarn would be much easier to work with (the tutorials show thicker yarn being used). After 10 or so tries to start my project via magic ring, I had to give up for the time being. Maybe I'll buy different yarn and try again.I think this product is probably really great if you have some experience, but if you're a total beginner without someone around to ask questions, this is tough. I think thicker yarn would really help the user experience.

I give this and the company that sells it, a less than zero rating. I ordered this for my girlfriend in January. It took awhile to even show up. When it did, the yarn that was in it was a rough, paper thin string and nothing like soft plush yarn in the add. I emailed about getting the wrong yarn and almost a month later got a response asking me if I wanted to pay my own money to send it back...no I do not want to pay to send back your mistake. On top of that, I still have not heard anything back at all about the proper replacement yarn and its been well over a month. Only a one star review simply because I cant rate it lower than that. Sorry.
