This learn to crochet kit with a Santa and Elk Gnome is such a fun way to learn to crochet. The quality of all the components are great, and the instructions and tutorials are wonderful! Everything you need to learn this new hobby is included!

It does teach you crochet but the instructions and handbook has typos. I assume it’s because the company is foreign though, so I understand. It’s the kind of typos you can still decipher despite it being there.

This set of supplies to make four cute beginners level crochet style "Christmas B" figures came in a nice little decorated box, perfect for gifting. Unfortunately my box was torn in several spots, but all of the materials were safe inside. One thing I omitted to notice in the product description is that it does come with a glue stick. Apparently some of the pieces, like the snowman‘s hat, need to be glued on with a glue gun. Not a big deal, I just didn’t realize glue was a part of this. If you see, you could also just put a couple stitches to attach the hat and other features instead of gluing it, which is what I will probably do. It is thoughtful that they included a whole glue stick to attach it, though. There is an instruction manual and the ability to watch videos online. It does state that if you are a true beginner that you should watch the videos first, which I will also do. There is a small air-vac pack of stuffing which I’m not sure will be enough for these. I think these figures are going to turn out to be quite small, but as a beginning crocheter that’s okay by me. I also have more fluff of my own I can add if I want to. At just under 14 Georges this is a pretty nice value set! Four figures is a nice amount to be able to create from one gift box. I look forward to attempting these Christmas figures. Fingers crossed for me!

I really love the step by step videos, as a beginner, I've practiced the basic stiches before starting the pattern. When I started use the pattern instructions, I see they differ from the video in round 4 and have a missing comma in round 5. These mistakes affect the outcome of the project and are confusing for a beginner. I would suggest following the videos.
